Perfectly located, charming hotel directly on the lake with its own private beach: you literally walk 20 steps from your bedroom to the water! Very quiet at night, spotlessly clean and very friendly and helpful service (they gave us a very detailed and accurate description for a walking tour into Dervio). Wonderful restaurant terrace overlooking the lake - the only (very slight) downside was that the portions for each course were so large that we couldn't do the traditional Italian sequence (antipasti, primi piatti, secondi, dolci), since we were completely full after 2 dishes - they should really offer 1/2 portions for each course so that people can sample a proper menu of their delicious food.

We only had one night here unfortunately on a very short visit to Italy. The hotel itself is perfectly located if you want to explore Lake Como. We had such a warm welcome on arrival and a parking space which was incredibly helpful. Room was spacious and clean but the view from the balcony and out of the door as you walked into the room was just dreamy. The hotel has a private beach area with kayaks available for hire as well as chairs and sunloungers. A short walk into Bellona for the ferry or the train to other towns/villages around Lake Como. I already want to go back!

My family enjoyed a nice stay at Hotel Meridiana. Bellano was a nice oasis away from the crazy tourist packed streets of other towns on Lake Como. The rooms were spacious and clean and the lakefront balconies provided beautiful views. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at hotel Meridiana. Such a beautiful setting right on the lake. I must make a special mention for Stefano who couldn't have been more helpful, from arranging a transfer to recommending restaurants and walks. We ate dinner in the hotel's restaurant twice and the food was excellent. Bellano itself is fab. Well positioned for visiting other locations including Dervio and Varenna. The local train line is also very good. We walked to Dervio twice during the week and returned by train. Would definitely recommend this hotel and Bellano to anyone keen to visit Lake Como. Stunning.

Summary: love the location (12 min walk to the Bellano train station) despite the fact that we had to drag along our luggage on cobblestones. It’s next to the Lake and you have a wonderful lakeside view. You are minutes walk away from the town centre where you can find nice restaurants and bars and the ferry. Rooms are not big but standard and clean enough. Standard Continental breakfast is also included in the restaurant in the hotel I would go back given its relatively cheaper pricing and location. Can easily walk and hop on the ferry to go to various places around lake Como a la Bellagio, Lecco, Como etc.

Great spot, great staff We stayed here for one night-spectacular views from the terrace and our room. Dinner was delicious and our waiter Marco was so helpful in navigating the menu and made wonderful recommendations. There is access to a private beach where we swam, and the staff brought deckchairs and towels. Breakfast was amazing-fresh breads, cheeses, hams, freshly baked cakes and breads, jam, fruit salad etc. Tanya was in charge and made the most delicious coffee for us. Would totally recommend and they’re all v dog friendly too ❤️

Just left this amazing hotel. Tania eggs and cakes-superb, Nancy looked after us like we were royalty, Monica and Sabrina made sure we had everything we needed and Marco was a treasure. We had such a beautiful break at this charming, lake side hotel we feel refreshed and happy. Thank you to all the staff.

We loved this little hotel right on the water. Has a nice private parking lot. We had room -8- in the corner with a pretty terrace. Access to the lake from the terrace. Very good restaurant and staff attentive to all your needs.
