Maybe I got a bad room. This was my second visit to this lodge in 2 years. I think the photo's posted, are only a slight reflection. My shower in my room was terrible, the bathroom light did not work. The booking in and out was good. Don't like that their restaurant has a fixed supper for every night. Everyone had to eat the same thing.

Unfriendly host. Leoni! Quiet hours from 9pm but no music allowed before then Ants No alcohol allowed around pool table if you didn't buy it from their bar. Leoni not available at check out. Beautiful place but the way we were treated socks, We won't be returning.

I stayed at Balmoral Lodge from March 4–6, 2025 and had an exceptional experience. My room was spacious, airy, clean, and comfortable, with everything in perfect working condition. I was traveling with a colleague, and we appreciated the comfortable seating area just outside our rooms, which provided a great space for collaboration. The staff were outstanding—especially the receptionist, who was exceptionally helpful and polite. I had to work after hours, and the lodge offered a quiet and conducive environment. As many reviews highlight, the breakfast is truly unmatched. On my last day, I was rushing to a meeting and requested a takeaway breakfast wrap. To my delight, the staff thoughtfully included yogurt, fruit, and juice along with my order—such a kind and generous touch! The lodge also features a clean swimming pool and a well-maintained entertainment area. I particularly liked the neatly arranged ironing stations, making it easy for guests to access an iron and ironing board when needed. I cannot fault this place—it was a fantastic stay. Thank you to the Balmoral Lodge team for your hospitality! I highly recommend this establishment.

The accommodation at Balmoral lodge is ideal for individuals or groups travelling for business. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Felt well-rested after our visit.

We spent a week at the accommodation with my family and it was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend Balmoral Lodge if you are looking for a central place to explore most parts of Cape Town. All the places we went to sight see were within the 30 minute drive radius making it ideal for tourists who want to explore the full of Cape Town.

We had a great stay - Unfortunately life happened, and we had a break in and lost allot of our belongings. witch was very unpleasant. The lodge Tried to accommodate us to the best of their ability afterwards.
