I am usually not a bed and breakfast person. And I generally prefer a hotel experience. However, my stay at 1810 Emerson was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. We were in Beloit for Beloit College homecoming. The location is great. You could easily walk to campus but since it was warm we drove. It is also very close to Strong Stadium and we walked there for the Saturday night football game. The home is beautiful. The backyard is a delight with many places to sit. Tony and Beth are gracious hosts and are truly interested in providing a great experience. The breakfast was great, go hungry. In addition. The WiFi is great and never dropped once. Ala in all a wonderful place to stay in Beloit

Our stay at Emerson House was a delight! The accommodations were lovely and Beth and Tony are fabulous hosts! Their place is comfortable and convenient to restaurants and the area in general. We were served 2 mouth watering breakfasts that were also beautiful to behold! Their cozy backyard was a great place to read a book, sit and chat. Tony’s knowledge of the area and its history were both helpful and interesting! We will be back! Thank you Tony and Beth for a delightful weekend away!

1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast The owners (Tony and Beth Bonasera) who operate this beautiful late 1700 Georgian Colonial style home are wonderful! Tony cooks a scrumptious multi course breakfast every morning with so much attention to detail and dietary limitations. Beth's baked goods is first in class. I booked a 3 night stay for my wife's birthday as a getaway present. The personalized approach and level of professionalism that was shown by this husband and wife power duo is nothing short of amazing. I honestly say without question that if you’re in the market for the best Bed & Breakfast experience this side of the Mason Dixie, look no further than 1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast. Tony and Beth WILL NOT disappoint you. My wife felt pampered during her entire stay there. The community the facility is located in is also amazingly warm, beautiful and charming. With Tony's on-point recommendations, my wife was able to explore this small beautiful town. It is the perfect getaway. My wife travels a lot and it was awesome to have her pleasantly surprised (not an easy feat I must add) by gem finds like 1810 Emerson House Bed & Breakfast. A hidden gem indeed. I honestly have nothing critical to say about this magical experience. I can only stress to all readers of this review how truly amazing this experience was and implore you to experience this for yourself. Book soon and often because that’s definitely what my wife and I are planning to do. Not yet convinced, check out these pics of just some of the creativity of this power couple and yes, it taste as good as it looks! Tony and Beth, I am sincerely grateful for the length for which you both went to insure that my wife had a great stay in your care. We spent a weeknight at the 1810 Emerson in Beloit during a road trip from Ann Arbor Michigan to Winona Minnesota. Accommodating host, clean and comfortable room and delicious breakfast. We were treated to a fine appetizer and homemade dry white wine upon arrival. Tony made us feel welcome. Excellent value! Great location. We’ll plan to visit again when traveling this area.

Tony and Beth will make your stay comfortable and delicious! Their B&B home is charming and so comfortable and quiet. We were spoiled throughout our stay. The four course gourmet breakfast was beautiful and filling. They desire to make your stay enjoyable, so they will be available, yet unobtrusive. What a special time we had! Thank you. :)

Tony and Beth are warm and welcoming hosts. Our room was quiet and allowed us to sleep soundly. My partner and I were doing genealogical research on family members that lived in Beloit, and Tony provided help on some local resources. We also enjoyed opportunities for dining and exploring the local scene.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely little bed and breakfast for our 8th anniversary and it exceeded all of our expectations. Tony and Beth had several homemade treats for us throughout our whole stay: assorted homemade pastries, a colonial spirit (home made), a beautiful charcuterie plate and wine they made from scratch. The house was gorgeous with a roaring fire in the immaculately furnished parlor/dinning room. Our rooms were not only confortable, but beautifully furnished as well. I particularly appreciated the little writing desk stocked with cards and stationary. I came and went as we pleased. Tony and Beth had some excellent recommendations for the area and every place we went was perfect. In the morning we had a three course delicious breakfast served to us on plates that had the flowers for the 8 year anniversary (that is how much detailBeth and Tony put into making your stay magical). Upon leaving we were gifted with some delicious homemade brownies. We will definitely be coming back to the Emerson house for the hospitality and the affordable experience.

I had high expectations for 1810 Emerson House, and Beth and Tony exceeded them, by far! The breakfast was top notch: from the beautiful china to the delicious food. No detail was spared on all of the little touches throughout the house, adding every comfort: from the mini fridge / coffee / tea area, to the bathrobes, to the backyard garden. As a 40-year-old daughter on a girls' getaway with her 84-year-old mother, Beth and Tony made us both feel quite well taken care-of and pampered. What a wonderful stay! :)
