Resort Mooi Bemelen

An absolute nightmare stay! We booked via Airbnb through the host Belvilla, by a person called Daniela. It was so difficult to receive answers for our questions before arrival, the response was automated standard . Was not even possible to call, always receiving the message to call the hotel, even though she is the listed host on Airbnb. The most shocking was when she asked for extra payments which were not listed on the description. We complained to Airbnb but nevertheless the hotel blackmail us after the arrival by blocking the key to our accommodation. we had to pay additional more than 200 euros to have again access. Than we had problems with the heating, 2 times complained, both time they couldn't fix it. Imagine the comfort inside with negative temperatures outside and no heating. Maintenance was not a priority in the hotel By far away my worst holiday experience

There is no shop (or anything else) close by, so you can imagine how unpleasant is to arrive to this destination after a day of travelling and not having towels and toilet paper. After we booked, we received an email that we should not use the fireplace because of the high gas costs. We did not booked a house with fireplace, but wouldn't be normal to announce in advance and not after the payment was made? Sunday's the local bus runs Sunday only on request. Again we didn't knew it in advance, so we had a massive delay to our activities because of it. There was no other public transportation option available. All in all, this is my crappiest accomodation experience in 9 years in Netherlands and one of the worst of my whole life. STAY AWAY from this place,
