Wow - where do we start, we absolutely loved our stay here. Nestled in the countryside but only a 30minute drive from Faro airport and the coast. We felt relaxed from the moment we arrived, gorgeous surroundings including a lovely pool which never got too busy. The restaurant was great - breakfast came on a platter and included granola, yoghurt, croissants, jam, fruit, with the option of eggs also. The restaurant can accommodate lunch throughout the day and has a great view of the sunset in the evening over the surrounding hills. There are a number of walking trails within the grounds and we had a great time exploring these, followed by a refreshing dip in the pool and a tasty smoothie! We also enjoyed the Tractor trail on Saturday evening - it explores the farm grounds and the local produce grown onsite, which we found very interesting. We only wished we'd stayed a little longer than 2 nights - we are already looking forward to retuning. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This quinta is a very special place. It's location is excellent, in the mountains inland from the Algarve coast (about a 20-45 minute drive from many of the main coastal towns and a great base for exploring them). It is an agrotourism and farm-to-table property, in that they grow the produce on the farm and serve it in the full-service restaurant on the property - including the delicious jams they serve for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious - included freshly baked items, yogurt and fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes made to order. The rooms were upgraded and modern, yet in keeping with the simplicity of the farm setting and preserving elements of the original property. There a many hiking trails, and a pool, and simply beautiful landscape to enjoy. The farm has been in the family for generations, and the owner hosts a farm tour on a tractor and wagon twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) in which he explains the history of the farm and their regenerative farming practices. There were some annoying small flies around - seems to be a seasonal thing in the early spring. It is a farm, after all, and such things come with the territory. We had some insect repellant wipes which did the trick.

Last minute overnighter but wish we could have stayed for much longer! Lovely welcome by the exceptionally cool Marcelo. Beautifully clean, simple though well appointed room. Gorgeous views and lovely pool. We enjoyed a delicious and well priced dinner and fabulously relaxed and tasty breakfast, much of the produce being home grown or locally sourced. We’d love to return. Thank you so much

Hier hebben we een rondleiding gekregen over de biologische boerderij die het restaurant van eten voorziet. Wat een passie heeft de eigenaar hiervoor, het straalt er echt van af. We hebben genoten! De rondleiding is een aanrader. Ga na afloop daar ook eten, want het hele menu bestaat uit heerlijke gerechten.

Estive 3 dias na Quinta! Um espaço muito agradável, muito bem decorado e arranjado. A comida muito boa e a atenção prestada ao grupo de trabalho foi 5***** Tiveram sempre em atenção as nossas necessidades e realizaram de bom grado todos os nossos pedidos. Proprietário e colaboradores, de uma simpatia extrema. Tudo fizeram para nos surpreender e para nos sentirmos em casa. Adorei a surpresa do último dia, aquela viagem em cima do tractor até ao maravilhoso piquenique que nos aguardava no meio da propriedade, junto a uma barragem, ficará marcado na minha memória! Obrigada a todo o staff Vou voltar!

Heerlijke plek om te verblijven. Kamers zijn ruim en compleet. Zwembad ligt perfect. Vanaf het complex kan je diverse wandelingen maken. In een half uur ben je in de drukte van verschillende steden. Prima ontbijt, mooie kaart voor diner. Goeie service en vriendelijk personeel. Echt een aanrader, idem voor het zusje quinta do mel. Met een nog betere diner kaart. Ik zou ze allebei aanbevelen.

Très belle adresse dans la nature au calme avec tout le confort… Des chambres parfaites grandes dotées d’un balcon sur la nature propre avec une grande salle bain … Les lieux sont impeccables très bien agencés avec goût Le gîte est adosse à une exploitation agricole dont la production sert au restaurant ( légumes fruits viandes œufs …) L’endroit est idyllique pour ceux qui aiment marcher ou faire du vélo (vtt ou de route) Des circuits sont fléchés depuis l’hôtel dans la nature environnante Le restaurant est bon les plats sont variés et de bonne prestation. Bref on a passé un très bon séjour aide en cela par l’équipe très sympathique ! Merci !!!

Heerlijk rustig hotel, met de auto kun je vanaf hier goed dagtripjes naar Tavira, Lagos of Faro plannen. Vriendelijk personeel, goed eten en een belachelijk uitgebreide menukaart. Het uitzicht is prachtig en de kamers zijn heerlijk. Klein nadeel zijn de wespen, ‘s ochtends lekker binnen ontbijten dus ;) Wij zouden hier zeker terugkomen!
