It was my first time staying at Parador… Everything was good. The reception staff was very friendly, and I don't know if it was remodeled, but the room was neat and the bathroom was clean.

We ere well looked after in comfort, i cannot praise this Parador enough - but that's tyrpical of Paradors, which is why we continually return to them.

I didn’t really discover much about Benavente which seems a large modern industrial town, but it is a convenient place to stop over if travelling north/ south or east/west in that corner of Spain. For these reasons I can’t recommend a stay of more than two nights and the impression we had Waltham few people would stay for a week. But the rooms are very spacious and well equipped. The superior rooms are a little larger and open onto the garden/swimming pool. The parador itself is a historic building , great took around and has great views over the neighbouring countryside (although that isn’t particularly spectacular. The restaurant is very good and breakfasts offered a good selection Car parking is outside the hotel and not monitored but we experienced no problems. I’d happily stay again if passing that way.

The Welcome on arrival was heartfelt and everything was explained in detail, Parking may be a bit tight for late arrivals. The Superior Rooms have a terrace with chairs and table, they overlook the gardens and pool, are clean and spacious Dinner in the restaurant was very good my husband had the Fish Dish which was excellent and I had the Lamb - which was Huge, so much so that I couldn't eat it all - however it fell off the bone and was delicious... Breakfast is ample, with a good choice of cold, plus there is a cooked to order also offered. All in all a very comfortable Parador. However in my opinion it its the Amazing, Friendly and Helpful Staff, that make this Parador what it is. Highly Recommended.
