Hotel Mediterraneo

Stayed for two nights convenient for watching the excellent Benidorm Fire Show. Would recommend this .

Just came back from celebrating my 30th with a large group of 11 (fam and friends) and none of us have had anything bad to say about this hotel. Rooms - comfy, big and spotless! shower & bath in one, Beds & pillows were really good. hair dryer & magnifying mirror in bathroom. Staff - welcoming & polite, even rocking up at 3am each night they were still happy to see us! bar staff were lovely too. Pool - couldn’t really comment cos it rained majority of our trip but it looked lovely and clean! We didn’t use indoor pool but was told you need to pre book for 50 mins sessions and have to wear swimming caps. All inclusive - your room key is your AI pass, no bands. You have picture taken on check in with who is in your room. You can’t get 2 drinks using the one card but you can take your own and any other persons card to get them a drink too (max 2 cards per serving) and entering restaurant they take your card and swipe it too. It was all very simple and efficient. AI drinks 10am - midnight. Drinks - couldn’t fault - all brilliant. Food - ignore any reviews that slate the food, food was beautiful. There was a little kids counter too which I thought was a. Brilliant idea so they can reach everything. Food was fresh, hot and good choices. Location - about 15-20 min walk from main ***** - if you enjoy chilled vibes with good music at night that avoids the carnage of a busy ***** and watch sports in the day then TROPICAL bar is perfect, 3 minute walk and open til 3am with tribute acts on every hour til about 1am. Beach about 10 minute walk, restaurants 5-10 mins, Lidl within 3 mins, McDonald’s next door, Benidorm plaza opposite hotel. Supermarkets teverywhere. Kids - we didn’t take children but there is a lovely park, gaming screen and pool tables.

We booked all inclusive, wouldn’t even give a single star. -Food is rubbish, literally no options available. -Hotel pool is ice cold, indoor pool is available for 50 minutes a day only including sauna -staff is rude, 90% cannot speak English and those who can doesn’t give a damn to anything said - rooms are filthy and tiny, we were given twin beds and when asked at reception they said all rooms have twin beds only -no snacks available in all inclusive only stale bread and few fruits - in all inclusive have to pay for the water, not to mention drinks those are included are worse than anything you would have ever tried. Overall horrible horrible place to go to, please see the following picture, these are the only options available in the snacks during the day.

A pleasant surprise, didn’t know what to expect with a first to Benidorm. Loved it and the hotel, staff, facilities etc all great, room fine. Food was very nice and a good selection, desert options were minimal but possibly because hotel was quiet/out of season. Would gladly go back.

Suprising for Benidorm to have a 2 storey high hotel. Room was big enough but smelt musky going into the room each time. Cleaners were in each morning changing towels, straightening bedding. Thought spa area was a bit of a joke, man would ask if we had booked but no other people there, then ypu couldnt go in with a head cap on which they tryed to charge 4.99, 1.50 in town. Evening meals were very nice, but alot of staff unwelcoming and looked miserable. I commend the lady in bar area of an evening she was always happy and helpful. Dont think i would return.

It was a really good place to stay been to many places and this was the best entertainment for the kids. Every night different entertainment and we stayed for 2 weeks. The rooms were very clean and the cleaners were very nice and welcoming The only thing that wasn't very good was the food there wasn't many options for the kids/ picky eaters but there was a McDonald's over the road so that was good too.
