Cost of hotel is quite reasonable, but going from train station to hotel was quite a mess, the hotel coild not explain properly how to get there, which I half way up the old town.
Unless you have no luggage, taking a taxi is the most convenient .
The taxi stand is to the right side along the train station. Which we were told by tourist information across the Plaza, but not really clear
We didnt try the hotel breakfast which is $12 per pax, instead we walked 350M down slope to cafe poeme, which served good coffee, nice breakfast in and still cost less.
Upon leaving, ask the hotel to arrange transport in advance , cost €15 to train station. Pay cash to make the driver very happy.
If you can find you way to hotel, it is recommended.

Мы (2 человека) остановились в отеле Academia Residence в Бергамо на два дня, с 11 по 13 апреля 2025 года. Цена вопроса – 29 022,50 руб. без завтрака (276,4€). Бронировали через Trip.com. Оплата в рублях. В отеле сказали, что бронь пришла через OSTROVOK!!! Отель расположен в центре Бергамо, в старой части города, на узкой средневековой улочке, в старинном палаццо. Совсем рядом Академия Каррары (рекомендую).
Отель расположен недалеко от железнодорожного вокзала. У нас был большой номер (улучшенный, четырехместный), окнами он выходил в чудесный тихий сад, куда был у нас отдельный выход, и где мы прекрасно проводили время вечером, за чашкой чая. Номер был большой, с красивым дизайном и даже со старинной мебелью, было все необходимое: холодильник, сейф, телевизор, туалетные принадлежности. На ресепшене всегда кто-то был, что для нас было важно, так как надо было оставить вещи до заселения, очень приветливый и внимательный персонал в отеле. Отель очень красивый и тихий.
Немного удивил, довольно высокий налог - 15,9€ за 2 ночи, который мы заплатили при отъезде. В этом путешествии мы были также в Брешии, Вероне, Падуи и в Венеции (например, в Венеции - 30,0€ за 7 ночей) - везде налог на проживание был ниже чем в Бергамо. Оценка отелю и персоналу – 9 баллов!!! РЕКОМЕНДУЮ!!!

Arrived well past check in time but was still well greeted by the night staff, was given a map to the town and spent time explaining our dining options for the evening. The rooms were spacious and clean. You can walk to and from the main train station in around 15 minutes. Around 25 EUR to the airport in a taxi.

We arrived late in the night and the reception was closed so we had instructions on how to enter. They were clear instructions on how to find the key but once we were inside we could not find the room easily as there is no signage on which floor the rooms are etc. How water take a very long time to come and password to the wifi is only upon entrance on a sign on the wall. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. No breakfast is offered at this property but she sent us to a simple cafe close by for a coffee and cake. A very convinient location for visiting Bergamo and if your flying in late at night. Very clean rooms.

The reception was very friendly. The staff gave us sightseeing and restaurant tips. The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the old town. The room was very large, clean, comfortable, fitted kitchen. No private parking but public parking nearby or Possibility to park in the street.
