A beautiful room, we arrived tired and cold, we found the room beautiful, warm, scented, welcoming, magnificent. Unfortunately I was there for surgery but I would have gladly stayed for holidays. The only flaw is that it is poorly lit outside, otherwise everything is beautiful

Great place to reach the upper city on foot or by funicular. We had a great time, both with the check-in method and with the room: clean, spacious and modern. The rooms were cleaned every day and the customer service was excellent too!

I had booked with the Agoda platform because, having called the alleged receptionist (I think it was the owner or the owner's daughter), she had asked me 135 euros for what was offered on the platform at 88 euros. I pointed it out to him, saying that usually the price obtained with a direct contact is lower because there is no platform commission and, in a knowing tone, he replied that this is not always the case, well. ... That evening I had booked an excellent restaurant in upper Bergamo (the Circolino) for 7.15pm to then go to a concert at 9pm and, having arrived by motorbike at 6.30pm in the brutal heat, I found no indication of the structure and everything was boarded up ...after several useless phone calls, the "receptionist" finally answers and tells me that since Agoda would not have provided her with either my email or my cell phone, she had not been able to send me either the check-in form or ' the link to pay the 2 euros per person tourist tax. Incredulous and angry because I had two reservations to respect, I asked you to send them to me. She can't do it, she's fantastic!...so she gives me her cell phone asking me to send her a watsapp! I do it and finally I receive the form and link. In the meantime I reached the restaurant and, instead of being able to enjoy my dinner, with the hot dish waiting for me, I had to fill out a form which I don't think is even necessary to expatriate in the USA (just to mention one: photo of the CI on the front, then photo of the back and then me holding the CI, ditto for my partner, to the hilarity of the other guests...). The moment arrived to pay the 2 euros/pers for the tourist tax without paying which he CATEGORICALLY told me that he would not send me the three codes to access the structure... Meanwhile my plate was getting cold and the concert was approaching. Obviously after 4 mysteriously failed attempts (in my opinion due to their problem) with each of my two credit cards I asked her if I could leave the 4 euros in cash in the room, answer: NO. At that point, "to help me" she asked me for ALL the card details that she would have provided: I couldn't help but trust... It's a structure managed with rigidity and inefficiency associated with an access procedure that To define them as Byzantine is an understatement, they are truly incredible. It ruined my dinner with my partner and my mood, moreover by blaming Agoda (which would have prevented her from contacting me earlier for the above) and when I contacted her directly offering me a price 40% higher than the platform. NEVER AGAIN AND ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED DUE TO TEUTONIC OBSESSIVITY AND RIGIDITY.

Perfect location, a few meters from the upper city funicular and the urban bus stop. Very spacious and clean room; very comfortable bed. Coffee maker and coffee in the room. It is located in a beautiful palace.

If you look at the pictures on the homepage, you don't expect a windowless room in the basement with a stained carpet and countless ants in the bathroom. That was a disappointment. It was also quite loud. The location is positive, not far from the train to the upper town, so you can easily explore both parts on foot. The fact that you can park on site is also an advantage.
