Loved it here. Unassuming, quiet comfort. The facilities are good, the setting in a forest peaceful, and the breakfasts are phenomenal. Ate dinner in the restaurant once. Was superb. Bergen is about a 20 minutes walk away. Known as "The Hamptons" of Holland - you can see why.

Lovely hotel which is located in a beautiful green forest. The hotel has an interesting design and blends in with the forest. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Rooms are bright and airy. Highly recommended.

This was my second stay at the Blooming; my first experience was not so great, I got a very small room with no space to move around. During my second stay, however, I got a much bigger and more comfortable room, which allowed me to relax a bit more and enjoy the hotel more. In both occasions, I was there for business and in both cases I found the meeting rooms not that comfortable for a reason or the other. The coffee is drinkable, but by narrow margins. The food served at the restaurant is below average. The fish day they offer some pasta bolognaise (geez, can anyone use Google a find the right name for this very simple Italian dish?), which you could use for plastering walls. The dinner was meh. Overall average, I would not come back if not for business reasons

Just had a one night stay here as we were travelling round the area and thought the location looked good. We enjoyed our stay but had read quite a few reviews and so weren't expecting it be be amazing. Positives are that the location is great - cyclable to the beach and to the pretty town of Bergen. The facilities are also good - a nice indoor pool, pleasant quite chic communal areas and an excellent included buffet breakfast. But don't expect a boutique feel - this hotel is quite big and doubles up as a conference hotel. We upgraded our room from standard to regular as the standard ones are very small and had a sizeable light room. Everything worked well but I felt it needed a really deep clean. Slightly tired but certainly acceptable and we are fussy. I would certainly bring kids here - works well for that. Perhaps less well for a couple seeking a boutiquey getaway.

We komen al een aantal jaren bij Blooming en iedere keer een feest. Gastvrije ontvangst goede bedden en douche. Ook in de Brasserie en restaurant kun je heerlijk eten en is de ontvangst heel gastvrij. De omgeving van Blooming is ook heel fijn Bergen de duinen en de zee. Kortom heerlijk een weekend uitwaaien met Blooming als thuis basis.

het was een kleine kamer die niet schoon was en de lichtknoppen waren erg vies. het personeel was oke. de spa was wel aangenaam. wel belachlijk dat je 7 euro moet betalen voor een extra handdoek voor het zwembad. badkamer was ook niet schoon! de bedden waren ok maar de rand was hard. 237 euro per nacht!

Wij hebben 2 dagen overnacht in een 'regular room'. We kregen een (behoorlijk grote) mooie lichte kamer op de begane grond, met terrasje aan de binnentuin met vijver. Echt superleuk. Indien je 's nachts de deuren niet wilt openzetten, is er een luchtrooster. Behalve goed sluitende verduisteringsgordijnen hangt er ook vitrage (in de zomer te gebruiken als een soort hor?). Kamer en badkamer waren schoon. Koffie en thee was na 1 dag keurig aangevuld. Vuil wasgoed en kopjes/glazen vervangen. De bedden zijn prima. Van de andere kamers links en rechts hoorden wij niets maar indien gasten op de gang luidruchtig zijn, hoor je dat wel. Er was 1 kledingrek en dat hadden er 2 mogen zijn óf 2 bagagerekken waar er nu ook maar 1 van was. Een duik in het zwembad 's morgens was fijn. Indien je iets vergeten bent, is er bij de receptie ook van alles te verkrijgen. Het ontbijt was uitstekend - teveel om op te noemen wat je allemaal kunt eten en drinken.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel, ansprechendes Ambiente. Freundliches Personal, kostenfreier Parkplatz. Wir hatten einen Regular-Room gebucht, zugewiesen wurde uns zunächst ein kleines Dachzimmer, nach entsprechender Reklamation erhielten wir das ein Zimmer in der gebuchten Kategorie. Lt. Webseite blooming sollte das ein "inspirierendes Zimmer mit jeglichem Komfort zum glücklich machen" sein. Tatsächlich hatte dieses Zimmer den Charme einer Jugendherberge. Es gab keinen Kleiderschrank, statt dessen einen wackeligen Kleiderständer mit 5 Bügeln, einen kleinen Rolltisch sowie einen Kofferständer. Es gab kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten, weder im Zimmer noch im Bad. Selbst Handtücher konnte man nicht aufhängen. Die Beleuchtung war mehr als spärlich. Der Pool war ok, in der Sauna fehlte eine effektive Abkühlmöglichkeit. Gutes Frühstück, gute Küche, kleine Portionen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: unangemessen teuer.
