Wir waren zu mehreren nicht zum Übernachten sondern zum mehrgängigen Mittags-Menü gekommen und staunten beim genüsslichen Verzehr über die weit überdurchschnittliche Qualität der Speisenfolge. Der dafür verantwortliche Chef de cuisine hat ein hohes Lob für seine kreative und köstliche Kochkunst verdient, chapeau!

Die Bewertung betrifft allein das Restaurant. Mehr als eine Schulnote 5 - ist leider nicht möglich. Gestern zum Osteressen mit der Familie. Eine halbe Stunde auf die Vorspeise gewartet. Dann eine Stunde auf die Hauptspeise. Obwohk das Restaurant noch nicht mal zur Hälfte besetzt war. Keine Nachfrage oder Entschuldigung durch das ungelernte Aushilfspersonal, vielmehr pampige Reaktion durch die Kellnerin. Der Vorspeisensalat mit diversen Zutaten angeboten für 17 Euro 😡entpuppte sich als schnöder grüner Salat mit geschmackloser Joghurtsosse. Eine Frechheit. Nach einer Stunde und Nachfrage kam die ebenso unspektakuläre Hauptspeise. Der Saibling war teilweise roh, dass Gemüse nicht gewürzt und fad. Das Steak bestand aus zwei dünnen Streifen, eins davon war ein Speckrand😡. Einfach nur schlecht und unverschämt teuer. NIE WIEDER ‼️ Vor drei Jahren, hatte dieses Restaurant eine völlig andere Qualität und sehr freundliches und geschultes Personal. EINFACH NUR SCHADE.

Wir waren zu zweit im Waldhotel Mangold und hatten das Arrangement Silvester in Silence gebucht. Das Hotel liegt direkt neben vielen Wanderwegen, die man gut nutzen kann. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen, das Zimmer war sehr schön und die jeweiligen Menüs einfach perfekt. Alles schmeckte sehr lecker und war so perfekt angerichtet, dass es fast zu schade zum Essen war. Der Koch verdient wirklich ein besonderes Lob. Auch die beiden Brüder Mangold haben sich sehr gut um die Gäste gekümmert, so dass eine sehr angenehme Stimmung während des ganzen Aufenthalts war.wir werden sicher gern wiederkommen.

Ich hatte als Business-Kundin gebucht und leider bietet das Hotel keine realistischen Storno-Fristen. Leider ist dann das Unvermeidliche passiert: Meine Bahnverbindung von Berlin aus wurde gestrichen und es gab keine andere Verbindung mehr an dem Tag. Ich habe die ganze Geschäftsreise abgesagt und bat das Hotel um Kulanz/Entgegenkommen bei der Storno-Gebühr. Ich bin selbstständig und konnte dem Kunden die Gebühr natürlich nicht in Rechnung stellen, da wir den Termin dann online durchführen mussten. Das Hotel antwortete mir kein EINZIGES Mal auf meine mühevoll verfassten Mails, sondern bombardierte mich knallhart und wortlos mit Rechnung, Erinnerung, Mahnung. SO geht man weder privat, noch geschäftlich miteinander um. Dieser Betrieb schlägt fröhlich Profit aus dem derzeitigen Bahn-Chaos - PFUI.
