A great value for money spot with quiet, peaceful surrounds and a great view of the valley below. We were never bothered by noise or other guests, we had clean sheets, comfortable beds, hot shower and all the basics you need if you are an average person.

We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect setting! Incredible scenery, awesome accommodation that was private with the most wonderful view. We had the best time.

It was spotless, well looked after, and very relaxing. Our stay was one of the best. The surroundings where we stayed were very nice, and the braai area was also clean. The Kitchen was well-equipped, and there was hot water for the whole family. I will recommend this place to friends and family.

We enjoyed our weekend stay thoroughly. The surrounding views are amazing. Having a restaurant so close is also very helpful is you’re not wanting to self cater.

The staff were very friendly and helpful right through the biggest snowstorm in history. The wood burning stove was not working very well, but otherwise we had a wonderful view and a comfortable, well-designed cottage

Was really happy with the service overall, the resort geographical location, the scenery, the staff , the cleanliness of the rooms , bigger cottage was allocated to us .. truly happy with my experience that’s why I came back the second time .. truly magical place

Lovely facilities, comfortable, & quiet! We were working close by and the Windmill was a perfect base. It was nice to have the restaurant on the premises also (I would only add 1 dish, maybe a stew). Hamburgers were TOP!
