We arrived at the chalet at 5pm. As we entered the chalet, it had a terrible stench like sewer. We aired the chalet out but the smell was continuously there. We did speak to the night manager and he could only change 1 chalet. We had booked 4 chalets. Next morning we spoke to the receptionist and she confirmed that its the borehole water and they added Sulphur to it. Please let people know that this is the problem, I wouldn't have booked it I knew this.

Lovely family friendly resort with lots of fun things to do with the children. Very clean and well kept resort. Friendly staff, good food. The problem was the accommodation. The bed was hard and noisy. To add to that there was Only 2 small pillows - No continental pillows. The shower floor was really bad. Either not scrubbed in a long time or badly stained. Either way, the tiles need to be changed. You need to wear slops to take a shower

I have visited the drakensville resort for the 3rd time now and i can tell you i have never been disappointed. A beautiful location with all the facilities that you would desire for a family or couples holiday. Staff are friendly and helpful. It was an amazing holiday !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at ATKV. The facilities were clean well-maintained. The self-catering cottage was kitted out with very good quality furniture, pots and pans. We loved the pools, which were heated and clean. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we would go again.

It was an absolutely relaxing weekend with spectacular views and a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!
