Vom herzlichen Empfang ueber die Größe des Comfortzimmers mit den getrennten Betten und dem wunderbaren Ausblick zur Friedrichwerderschen Kirche stimmte einfach ALLES. Das Hotel ist mit dem Bus 147 sehr gut an den Bf.Friedrichstr.,den Ostbahnhof und als Wichtigstes an den HBF angebunden. Der Hbf kann auch mit der U5 von der Station Museumsinsel bequem erreicht werden. Unser Ziel war die Museumsinsel,die fussläufig erreichbar ist. Das Frühstücksbuffett war mit dem Begrüßungs-Smoothie über die Brot-/Brötchen-Auswahl bis hin zur ,,Eierstation,, d.H. Omelett auf Wunsch sehr gut und vielfältig. Da ARCOTEL eine österreichische Kette ist kommt der Kaffee und die Säfte von Meindl bzw Rauch.Da stimmt die Qualität. Das Haus ist nach unserem Befinden uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Wenn es nicht den Zwischenfall mit meiner Doppelbuchung einer no-Storno-Rate gegeben hätte ,die vom Hotel mit keinerlei Kulanz(Gutschein gleich welcher Höhe) abschlägig beschieden worden wäre ,so könnten wir den Aufenthalt als Rundum gelungen bezeichnen.

We had a great stay at the Scandic! The location was convenient for sightseeing (sights in walking distance) and subway station was just around the corner. Room was clean and spacious (parents + 2 teens)

Booked twin beds. There was 1 bed with 2 separate mattresses, made up as 1 bed (1 duvet). A separate bed has been added to the room. As a result, there is little walking space. Very good in terms of hygiene. Clean towels and clean toilet/shower every day.

Location is great. The room is spacious even with a balcony. The room has a safe and fridge Which is we need. The toilet and bathroom are separate, Which is good for a family to share the room. The coffee machine is not clean enough.

The room is spacious and quite clean. But there is no kettle or related accessories in the room: cups, tea. There is also no large full-fledged mirror, one is hidden in the closet, which is absolutely inconvenient. There are no sockets near the bed, which also makes life difficult. It is very convenient that there is a coffee shop and a supermarket in the hotel building.
