I spent 4 days alone in the Old Town Hostel and felt comfortable. Clean room with comfortable bed (not saggy), great location (subway and tram available), really beautiful surroundings (Helmholtzplatz), proper bands and a nice lounge area (I didn't use it). Uncomplicated booking and check-in. The only problem: very bright in the room in the morning (curtain is thin and short) and very thinly soundproof (you can hear every step and every word in the hallway). I would come back anytime for the really fair price.

I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom, the room was small but sufficient, comfortable, with a view of the street. Always silence and tranquility in the hallways. The bathrooms are more than good, always clean. The location is the best, the neighborhood is beautiful, the tram passes at the door and the subway is just a few blocks away, very connected to the entire city, and you can get to the center in a few minutes. ＞I would definitely stay here again!
