Dieses Gasthaus in der (selbst im regnerischen November) malerischen Thüringischen Rhön ist eine wundervolle Basis - gemütliche Zimmer, durchweg freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter und sehr gutes Essen! Tipp - lasst euch über Nacht die kalten/nassen Schuhe im Heizungskeller wärmen, so könnt ihr nächsten Tag wieder voll durchstarten. Und auch ein Besuch in der kleinen aber sehr schönen Sauna ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ich komme gern wieder...

Wir haben ein Wochenende mit unserem Hund im Hotel verbracht, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen, herzliche Mitarbeiter-Innen und ein ganz tolles Essen. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön für Naturliebhaber und Reiter ! Wir kommen sehr gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder.

Ein familiengeführtes Landhotel mit wunderschönen Zimmern. Man hat täglich Kontakt zu den Inhabern und den Angestellten, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Vor dem Hotel kann man entspannt sitzen und Speisen und Getränke zu sich nehmen. Das Frühstücksbuffett ist reichhaltig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Was mir besonders positiv aufgefallen ist, dass der Bodenbelag im ganzen Haus besonders gut die Trittgeräusche dämmt. Ich bin Gast seit ca 30 Jahren und fühle mich immer wieder herzlich willkommen!

Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum eines kleinen, ruhigen Ortes. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Wir waren mit insgesamt 13 Personen vor Ort und hatten Zimmer in verschiedenen Etagen. Unser Zimmer ganz oben war eher klein und das Badezimmer hatte den Standard der 90er Jahre. Trotzdem war alles geplegt, sauber und alle technischen Einrichtungen incl. WLAN haben funktioniert. Die Zimmer in der 1. Etage hatten eine deutlich modernere Einrichtung, insbesondere die Bäder waren auf dem Stand der Technik. Die Halbpension umfaßte Frühstück und Abendessen, beides war gut, regional und völlig ausreichend. Auf unseren Wunsch wurde an einem Abend sehr gut und umfangreich für uns gegrillt. Das Personal war in allen Belangen freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell.

Zimmer 1 war gut ausgestattet mit perfektem Bad/WC. Gleich neben dem Balkon der Kirchturm mit pünktlichem Weckservice um 8 Uhr ;-) Manche modernen Menschen haben vielleicht ein Problem mit dem (fast) perfekten Funkloch. Das Restaurant bietet eine übersichtliche Auswahl regionaler Schmankerl, bestens zu bereitet - leider fast nur Pommes als Beilage.
