Black Bears live locally although we have not seen them on the property yet. There are Eagles and hawks in the area so keep small dogs close to you at all times. When hiking through wooded areas or grass we recommend using Off spray or another known brand on your shoes and legs. During the summer you might hear distant music from the summer camp a mile up the road but it is not bothersome.
