Excellent view from the room balcony where you could enjoy beautiful sunset and fresh air. Comfortable beds equipped with all other necessary facilities at the guest room. Delicious and impressive dinner especially fondue with veal and beef, varieties of sauce with cozy environment coupled by warmth and caring from the service staff. The boss Bastian was nice and sociable making our 2-day stay here memorable!!

We arrived in the snowy wonderland of Bettmeralp and were picked up from the station in what looked like a mini snow plough with caterpillar tracks. The hotel is towards the top of the town on the main street (car free) and people were skiing down the street when we arrived. Room was cosy and clean. Lots of variety for breakfast: cereal, cheese, bread, eggs, fruit etc. We were able to ski from the front door to the chairlifts. We opted for the half board option and the evening meal was delicious. 4/5 courses per night and a good wine list. We especially enjoyed the meat fondue that turned into a soup! Thanks, we'll be back!

We only stayed here for one night. The room was basic in style but had everything we needed and was comfortable and the breakfast had plenty to go at. The only problem we had was on arrival when we called the hotel to be collected the lady who answered didn’t speak English so we had to walk to the hotel. The same lady greeted us on arrival, she was lovely and we got by to get into our room. Some people will say I should improve my French/German :)

Mein gestriger Kommentar basierte auf einem Erlebnis mit EINER Serviceperson. Heite morgen war alles anders, freie Sitzwahl und freundliche Bedienung. Somit bin ich gerne bereit meinen Eindruck zu aktualisieren und das Hotel Alpfrieden weiter zu empfehlen!

5 jours de rêve avec notre fille et nos deux chiens dans ce petit paradis tenue par une famille aux petits soins. Le client y est Roi! Chambre cosy et très propre, repas succulents (tout est bon; ne pas manquer: les filets de perches de Rarogne sur lit de fenouil citronné et les pâtes Alpfrieden); salade de fruits frais, œuf à la coque (cuisson parfaite), large choix de fromages à tomber pour un petit-déjeuner parfait. Ski in and out: emplacement idéal.

Das Hotel Alpfrieden ist gut gelegen, hat ein super Restaurant, die Auswahl der HP-Speisen sind hervorragend und der Service sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Allerdings erhalten auch in diesem Hotel Alleinreisende die schlechtesten Tisch beim Frühstück, mitten im Raum, wo alle Gäste, die zum Buffet wollen, vorbei müssen. Wenn man sich wehrt, kriegt man doch noch einen Fensterplatz. Zudem habe ich bei einem Zimmerpreis von Fr. 180.-- / Nacht (DZ Alleinbenutzung, HP) eine andere Erwartung als abgescheuerte Wände, abgetretener Teppich, durchgescheuerter Sessel etc (s. Bilder). Dieses Hotel hat dringendst ein Facelifting nötig!

Hatten Halbpension gebucht. Zimmer etwas älter aber sehr sauber. Terrasse nach Süden mit besten auf die Walliser 4000er. Frühstück sehr vielseitig. Nachtessen ausgezeichnet. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns haben die 4 Tage sehr gut gefallen.

Le service est top. Serveur et serveuse font tout pour vous faire plaisir. Les plats sont copieux et très appétissant. Belle terrasse avec une vue formidable. Mais l interieur est très agréable aussi. Ne pas hésiter.
