we had a great stay at base camp. very recently refurbished, super clean and modern and ideal location to explore the local outdoors. staff was very friendly as well and assisted us with some gear problems that we encountered during the stay. Overall: can recommend and would stay again!

Amazing hostel facilities, even had a drying room perfect for wet clothes after a hike; they had thought of everything! Beds were really comfortable and showers were hygienic and amazing!!! Fantastic value for money I would 100% come again

En suite rooms with privacy curtains on each bunk, plus your own sidelight and charging point. The best showers I've had in a bunkhouse, hands down. A really friendly and chatty team. They were super accommodating especially in the event of some difficult weather warnings and travel disruption during my stay. Proper modern chill out space with a great cafe on site. Local beers, tea and coffee! Secure key card locking, online check in, and WhatsApp communication to answer and questions. All felt very slick. Already planning to stay again soon. If you're looking at a few days in the National Park, I highly recommend checking them out.

What a wonderful hostel! Beautifully decorated, very comfy rooms, excellent showers and friendly staff. Loved being able to get a proper coffee downstairs, Betws doesnt have many places for good coffee! Great location by the pont y pair bridge!

You will not find a better hostel in terms of location, staff and amenities. The location speakers for itself with easy access to all the key activity spots, whether you’re into hiking, trail running, water sports or mountain biking. Also, the rain showers in the rooms are awesome and the heated towel rails give it a luxury feel for a budget price. What really stands this hostel out from others is the staff. I can’t thank Hannah, Michael, Josie and Jedd enough. Hannah in particular was brilliant giving me some cracking hiking suggestions and went to the trouble of writing a hit list for things to do on the next part of my journey. Definitely above and beyond. Thanks gang. Stu

Amazing stay, super clean shared accommodation, lovely staff, couple of nice of shops and food places within walking distance and a perfect location only being a short drive for anyone hiking around snowdonia, cheap and very cheerful! 100% recommend.

What a little gem within the heart of Betws-y-Coed. Super friendly and helpful staff, well stocked bar, great coffee. Rooms are lovely - I stayed in a 4 berth room; nicely furnished, comfy beds and good privacy with each bed having its own curtain. Each room has its own shower and bathroom, which is way more preferable than having communal facilities. Also, it’s set in such a gorgeous village. Will definitely visit again

Great new hostel, very modern, clean and well appointed. Comfy beds, good drying room and amazing staff. Base Camp does not have a kitchen for guest use and eating late in Betws can be tricky as places can close early. Coffees and teas at Base Camp are rather expensive for guests, particularly as there are no other facilities.
