We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. Our bathroom was dreamy with a classic clawfoot tub and beautiful windows. Water pressure was amazing. Our room overlooked a big persimmon tree. You could also hear church bells and the roosters which made the experience. The staff was incredible and very attentive. We were there for a wedding reception which was very well done. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant too. Would highly recommend the hotel for the experience. While the decor was not to my taste and a bit overwhelming, it was still a cool experience overall.

It was a great way to end our two week trip to Italy. Beautiful place and ground. So peaceful. It was like living in a fairytale. Once in a lifetime experience being able to say I stay in a castle in Italy.

Castle is an absolutely stunning location. We chose to spend my daughter’s birthday here and it was amazing - from attention to details in services (such as flowers, cake and many more) to an unbelievable surroundings and princess worthy room!
I would recommend anyone who is looking for a special place to celebrate a loved one or a special occasion!

This is an absolute treasure. This was our second time coming here and it was even better than we remembered it. The rooms and grounds are gorgeous but the best part was the guy who did our wine tasting and the bartender. (Forgot their names, sorry) They were both so kind and knowledgeable. The bartender makes the best drinks. He took time to explain each drink and customize them. We all agreed that we need to come back soon!

Hotel is one of a kind. Old castle with lots of historical things inside. Inside it is very genuine, rooms are almost like You would back in time. With big bed, nice bathroom, coffee machine..and many small objects from the past. Hotel was also in some paranormal activity tv productions. So it gives a little thrill to it. When we visited hotel was a Wednesday and the restaurant was closed..there are no real options to eat close..we had to take a car to the closest city for a dinner. Breakfast was in a beautiful room..but it was only cold breakfast..good products but quite basic. Service was great. Also there is only a guard man during night in the hotel. If You want to leave at night till 8am You have to call guard man to switch off the alarms. But it was no issue for us. Also we travelled with the dog. There are some areas around the castle for some nice walks with the dog. Generally genuine hotel where you can really feel the thrill of old times. For us it was good for a one night..like an adventure.

Excellent property..service is perfect..rooms beautifully done ..had dinner at restaurant it was finest and we needed vegetarian options and they happily gave us enogh options and they all were so good …try to visit here either to stay or tour or eat whenever in this region..we absolutely enjoyed our stay here
