The best thing about this hotel is it's location and quite nice rooms with small fridge and kettle, 2 cups albeit you had to buy your tea, coffee, milk if you wanted to use it. One flimsy pillow and one equally flimsy pillow. I thankfully brought a few hangers with me but left them for next person. Nice bar downstairs very cheap and little gift shop. The food was the worst I've had since travelling to Medjugorje. Didn't like the scrambled egg, streaky bacon was nice and crispy but far too salty. Croissants and bread was lovely and good selection of cereals, cheese, ham, pate and jams. The dinners were served cold. We had fish one day but the potatoes were as if they were taken straight from the fridge! Soup was always Luke warm. Bread was lovely and plentiful. We got a plate of lettuce every day with nothing with it as a course?? Desert usually consisted of a nice sponge. We had red and white home made wine on the table which was very strong. Also plain and sparkling water. The last day was best when we were given fried eggs for breakfast also dinner was better with chicken & chips. They did bring out an enormous birthday cake on last day and all the group got a gift which was a nice touch.

As Medjugorje visitors are mainly pilgrims, this is a well located property about 10 minutes’ walk from St. James Church, which is one of the places where the apparitions of Our Lady took place. The Parish Church and surrounding area is the area where the Mass and sacramental life in general is celebrated. Property looks relatively new and had plenty of free car parking. Hotel had nice air-conditioned rooms with comfortable bed and was provided with free Wi-Fi, TV, kettle, phone etc. Bathroom was also very neat and was provided with free toiletries and hair dryer. The church could be seen from our windows. Breakfast spread was not so much, however, satisfactory. The breakfast area was quiet spacious to accommodate plenty of guests. All staff in front office were very polite and willing to help. While checking-in we requested for coffee and the receptionist happily gave it and he didn’t charge for the same. We walked to the Apparition Hill, which was about 30 mts from the hotel. We returned by taxi from there. There are plenty of restaurants on the way from the hotel to the Church. Kravice Falls is about 30 minutes by car from the hotel. Great price for such a pleasant stay including breakfast and such a nice location. Happy to recommend this property for any pilgrims to the Shrine.

We got lured into booking the room by some excellent reviews by others but when we arrived and unpacked, and settled in, found that the A/C is controlled by the absentee owner and his minions at the front desk. They could not "get it to work" to anything below 25 C and after several back and forth with the "manager" we were offered a room that was showing 23.6 C on his computer as a compromise. This room was smaller, older, without even a cup for water and a TV smaller than the size of most people's computer screen!! This "TV" only had access to Italian and Polish channels and nothing else! Needless to say, we were not impressed!! There was no attempt to refund any of the money paid for an "excellent room" but getting something so low on the scale that I will not even attempt a rating. BUYERS BEWARE of this bait and switch trap!!!!!

Beautiful and clean hotel 10 minutes walk from the church with free car park and a nice breakfast to start your day. The owner and all the staff are amazing. Can't thank them enough for the beautiful stay. If we return to Medugorje it will be our first choice hotel for sure.

Food 10/10 really excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, very soft beds, the sheets are changed every day on time, spacious and aesthetically beautiful rooms, they have a fridge, lots of drawers, good bathroom, friendly staff and they speak Italian perfectly, they seem Italian even if they are not and they have a bar at the reception. before we left they gave us 50 sandwiches to the whole medjugorie group and they made us a cake at the end.
