Let me say it first that the whole staff behaviour was too sweet. They were helpful all the time. Food was a bit overpriced. The location was too far from bolpur station. The whole resort is too nice & beautiful. What i didn’t like that the pool was not light up after sunset & through out the night. It’s pretty disappointing. Overall experience was quite good. Lastly i wanna say one thing about the rooms that rooms are not sound proof. Noise come through from beside rooms all the time, specially u can overheard things from the side rooms or upper rooms. It’s very wrong for those who want privacy & peace like me. Despite these things i had great quality of stay experience with ananda resort.

The location is good, away from the crowd. It is about 10 km from santiniketan biswa bharti so it is best suited for those who have their own vehicle. There is ample parking space and a dorm for drivers. It is not the typical hotel. It is actually a residential complex with 31/32, 4 storey buildings. Many of them are privately owned. The rooms are quite small and the balcony is even smaller. There is no lift in any of the buildings so it might get a little difficult for senior citizens. The exteriors are nicely decorated. The staff is very polite and efficient. The panthashala restaurant is decently priced.

Location is very far from the main mandir area, almost 2kms. In food, main course items are good, but starter items are not up to the mark with very high price and less quantity. Staffs are cooperative. Rooms are of good quality but small in size. Beds are not able to occupy 3 persons. No cards payment, only cash or upi.

Amidst the serene surroundings, our Prantarik Cottage is a quaint little picture pretty cottage, located at a distance of about five minutes walk from Prantik railway station. The cottage was built in the mid-nineties by our beloved father, (Late) Ranendra Lahiri. Being a Chartered Engineer by profession he designed it to serve as a place of periodic retreat in order to pursue his literary and musical pursuits too, in the quietude.The Space:From the gate at the entrance, a small gravel path leads the way to the cottage.Our cottage has two small and cosy rooms Chayanika and Sanchayita, named as a tribute to the great poet. Each room has a king-sized bed in addition to other furnishings. Both the rooms have a LED HD TV each, with TATA Sky connection and attached bathrooms equipped with the requisite bath fitments. There is an Altar attached to one of the rooms.Our entire cottage including the premises and the Outhouse of the Housekeeper has a 24-hour power back up from an inverter.The cottage is also equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, including a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.There is a separate dining room which the guests can also use.All articles have been consciously chosen to provide a feel of a distinct but harmonious kind, with a view to making the stay of all our discerning guests a unique and a memorable one.Two well-manicured lush green lawns surrounded by an eclectic mix of fruit - bearing trees and a vast array of seasonal flowers all around the cottage beckon the guests who may wake up to the sweet chirping of numerous birds in the morning or watch them fly back to the comfort of their nests at dusk. I had a wonderful experience staying at kristi guest house. 1) the property is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The designer has great taste, and the ambiance of both the rooms and the entire guest house is fantastic. 2) the service is excellent, with staff displaying a high level of politeness and professionalism. 3) the food quality is top-notch, and the prices are very affordable. 4) the location is ideal, situated almost in the center of sonajhuri hat and biswabharati. 5) shyambati market is just 350 meters away, making it very convenient.
