The Aston Inn

The Aston inn is ideal for any Villa fan just a few minutes walk to the ground. Parking at 5,00 if you are staying there 8.00 if you are not. The staff really make this place they work so hard two inside bars and one outside and it was packed with singing villa fans. Post match we had the thrill of hearing the quad Rox band who entertained us with a heap of villa songs and some excellent cover songs the old classic ones everyone having a great time. We decided to retire honour room 112 I have to say it’s very basic and a extra pillow and extra duvet would of been welcomed heating didn’t work and the tv was hard to operate speakers crackles no WiFi. The room and bathroom was clean hot water was excellent for the morning shower and the fluffy towels were lovely. A bin would be useful too. We sadly didn’t have time for breakfast but I applaud the ladies who transformed a very messy drink sodden pub in to a spotless haven. I would be happy to stay again. Food is available from various street stalls outside the pub and on route to the ground.

Fantastic place to stay, Great match day experience and atmosphere for Villa fans, Villa Park 5 mins walk.Staff are very friendly ,made you welcome .Mega breakfast will keep you going for the day. Rooms are clean hot shower ,code for wifi.I will be back.

Fantastic match day hotel and a superb location for Villa park. Memorabilia all around the club. Rooms have everything you need. Jo and the team were superb and we celebrated late into the night. Good breakfast available to soak up the Guinness!

My partner Glyn drove through the night to arrive on the morning of the match. We were welcomed by Jo the owner along with Tina and had a well needed lovely breakfast then a few drinks. Sadie is brilliant and did all of our checks before giving us the key. All the staff are great here and we love staying here. The shower is always hot and if you need anything the staff will do there best to sort it. Keep up the fantastic work and we will see you all in January 💜💙UTV X

Mattress was horrendous..had to put 2 quilts to create a mattress topper and still felt the springs digging into my side ..worst nights sleep ever ..also.pillows were like wafers . Never again..staff friendly..could do with a kettle in the room.

5* based on the fact it was £60 when most of Birmingham was well over £120. Easy to find. Ok parking (no match on). Friendly bar staff to check in. Very helpful and chatty. Yes, it is basic. But it is clean and functional. £10 in a cab to the town centre. Would happily use again if needed. Good place for an inexpensive option.
