Lovely little hotel very close to Stanstead Airport. It was being refurbished unfortunatley, so had some issues with wifi, but I was upgraded to a double room immediartely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was missing a small fridge and a toilet brush, which should be stadard in a four star establishment.

I was attending a wedding talking place at the hotel. Everything worked well. The service and food throughout was excellent, and the room well appointed.

We were doing a self driving trip around London and need to take flight in the early morning next day. This Ramada is my personal highly recommended hotel for anyone who is in the similar situation as us. Check in was really smooth, which is self check right on the reception desk. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room is clean and I could get whatever I need. The only one unsatisfied point was the strange smell, which I can’t tell where it came.

Decent, don’t expect anything more from this hotel but defo better than the other chains! Shame that the tv is not a smart for Netflix if you’re staying a little longer.

Great Lodge is close to the airport (58 mins walking or 14 mins by bus). I wanted a place in nature, and I was served : multiple public footpaths and hiking trail (see picture). The room was clean, spacious and warm. Didn't have soap or conditioner as mentioned, but I didn't need them since I had mine. Check-in and check-out were easy (a person was at the front desk).
