A great experience - incredibly gracious hosts - very much like a B&B in the US - room was spacious, very clean, bathroom was beautiful - and the view is amazing. Breakfast is wonderful. 30ish minutes from the tram to Grandvalira in Encamp - where there is indoor parking and ticketing. A car is necessary - in March I had an AWD rental with the chain kit and I was glad I did - didn’t use the chains but it was only a few degrees away from needing them. There are also mountain hiking trails that run *right* past the hotel.

Absolute beautiful place to stay incredible scenery and the hotel owners were extremely welcoming and friendly. Peaceful and idyllic and a strong contrast to the commercial and tacky nature of Andorra de Vella, just down the hill. The drive up is not for the faint hearted, but is absolutely worth it!

THIS PLACE IS STUNNING.... Hosts are lovely, lovely people. The location is utterly beautiful and majestic The room was spotless, high quality and fabulous views. Dinner was delicious, cooked on an open fire - excellent botifarra. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and superb. We did not want to leave. We would give this place 6 stars if we could - just brilliant. Moltes gràcies, el vostre hotel és fantàstic i tots dos sou persones meravelloses. Definitivament tornarem.

Located high in the hills this hotel offers total silence, comfort and stunning views. It is owned and run by a husband and wife team who are extremely friendly, and do everything to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The showers are perhaps the most powerful you will ever encounter in any hotel. The restaurant, whilst basic offers superbly cooked fresh food and the meats are cooked to perfection on the indoor BBQ. Breakfast is a continental with the addition of eggs cooked to your choice. Despite being relatively isolated, the prices for drinks, food and the meals are all very reasonable. Parking is vast and safe. A note for motorcyclists, unless you are a very experienced rider you will find the road up a little testing. There are at least 16 very severe hairpins all with a camber in excess of 45° In a car, it’s often a 1st gear climb but the drive up is well worth it.

A truly breath taking view mark's this out as a very special hotel. Quite a challenging drive to get there but oh so worthwhile. Once there you can enjoy the excellent service and attention of the owners( charming couple) , great but simple food and bedrooms with fantastic views

Nous avons déjeuné ce midi dans un endroit magique, avec un accueil très gentil du patron et de la patronne. La nourriture est excellente, les produits de toute première qualité. Mention spéciale au chat "Chaussette", qui est aussi gentil que ses maîtres. Un grand merci pour ce beau moment. Olivier et Guillaume

Hotel perfecto para desconectar y relajarse en plena montaña, trato inmejorable, familiar y muy atento. La comida está muy bien, y servida en la terraza con esas vistas aún mejor. Sin duda es para repetir.
