"I liked the accommodation, friendly, good location, fairly priced including breakfast which was amazing well served.
It was ashamed wasn’t en-suite room available when I did my booking. Good room with a nice double bed which I liked very much."

"The location of the room is great. There is an entrance to the amusement park within a 1-minute walk. You can see the sea when you cross the road. The room is newly decorated and the breakfast is good. It is a great hotel in Blackpool"
"It's a little far from Blackpool North Station, but the rooms are very spacious. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's very clean and comfortable. There is also an elevator.
The Henson hotel is a little far from the station and downtown, so if you have a large suitcase, it's a good idea to take a taxi.
There are buses and trams running so it's fine even at night."
"Fair & Honest.
Negatives - 1) room (single with double bed) too small.
2) bar staff (gent) too cocky let the team down
3) no comeback when they checked my room out for cigarette smoke (from designated outside smoking area).
Positives -1) entertainment 1st class 2) all staff have obviously been well trained on how to respect customers. 3) very friendly holiday makers hotel 4) location"
"The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep! The hotel is very close to the sea, not far from the main attractions, and you can walk on the wide trail along the coast; The English breakfast cooked by the landlord’s wife is delicious. The landlord and his wife are warm and courteous, meticulous and thoughtful. They are very willing to help every visitor. It is pleasant! I found a delicious Chinese restaurant with the enthusiastic help of the landlord, which is very delicious! Easy parking, just in front of the door!"
"We was in a disability room there was only 2 plug sockets furniture had to be rearranged so I plug my cpac machine in was told by 2 staff members I could have an extention but wasn't given one and had to ask twice for a shower chair as there was anywhere to sit if you can't stand to have a shower noisy at night from surrounding clubs till about 3am not there fault they do have double glazing and thick curtains staff was friendly it was clean"

AAlgoithmFirstly, the sign on the door says, ”Tudor Rose Original” - in case anyone was wondering.
There's not many places which are on the promenade for a family of 4 for <£40. We stayed in the quad room, which had a double and 2 singles, perfect for the 4 of us. It's a very short walk to the beach, South Pier, Water Land, Pleasure Beach and there's a Whetherspoons around the corner. The tram stop is also close by (South Pier).
The welcome we got was nice. Sarah and Robert were nice. We needed toilet roll, milk and mugs for the room which were quickly stocked. The curtain rail fell down immediately on entering the room, and it was taken care of quickly. They have free pool and fussball in the living room and we're playing energetic music which I liked. The bar is empty, but Sarah told us that bringing in alcohol was not a problem. Very nice welcoming people.
The room was fine. Theres always 3 things that I look for in a room:
1) Comfy bed
2) Cleanliness
3) Hot water and working shower
1) Beds were fine actually. I thought the mattresses were a bit ”springy” - as in I could feel the springs. But we all slept on them fine.
2) Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The carpet needs changing, and we found some rubbish (sweet wrappers) behind one of the chairs in the room that wasn't ours. Also the curtains looked a little suspect (?mould on them). Blinds would be a nice replacement.
3) The shower was awful unfortunately and what really let this stay down. The hot water wasnt the problem, but the shower shot out first boiling hot water, then when the cold water eventually caught up, the pressure dropped significantly and so I could only have a warm dribble shower. This may need addressing. It could be because we were on the third floor, but it was still slightly disappointing. We were given towels for the room too. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work either.
All in all, for a last minute booking, it was a cheap and cheerful stay.

GGordonWe were dissappointed in the car parking situation. It wasn't exactly made clear that you need to drive into where it was marked exit and press for them to lift the barrier. Then unfortunately there was no room so had to call into reception to find out where we could park it was a bit stressful and could have been avoided. The hotel itself is very secure as you need to press for access to the entrance. Once up to reception on the first floor we were welcomed and allocated a room. The room was very tired with marked and scratched walls and ceiling. The bathroom had all the ususl facilities but a great big crack was in the tiles on the floor about two and half feet long. The shower head was dirty and the bottom of the main door was peeling away. The bed was two single mattresses put together which were obviously well used and meant there was a bump in between which wasnt very comfy. The bar was expensive for drinks and the staff seemed to multitask serving and cleaning tables etc. Some of the same staff were at breakfast and it just felt a bit overall short staffed. The breakfast itself was adequate but basic. We did notify reception on checking out of our findings as we are not usually ones to complain but the issues do make a difference and some just general maintenance.

GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay for 2 nights when we recently visited Blackpool. Had breakfast included in the stay but also had dinner from the bar menu both nights (fish and chips were delicious!!!). Staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Tram stop was right outside the hotel too. We’ll definitely be staying here on our next visit and I would 100% recommend to anyone else planning a trip to Blackpool.
TTrip.com SGJPIt's a little far from Blavkpool North Station in the center of town, but it's close by bus or train. The Blackpool Grand Hotel is a very large hotel and very easy to find, so I thought it was a safe hotel for beginners. The front desk staff are always on standby, so I thought it was a very safe hotel.
MMarcus SlaterA hidden gem of a hotel, great swimming pool and tram stop at its door. This also a important historic hotel, it needs restoration work, but that only going to happen when people recognize it importance. The hotel built like theatre scenery, emulating a castle.
GGuest UserThe hotel was fine and near some of the tourist amusement area. However, making me change hotel on my last night of stay for some reasons wasn't pleasant to me.

LLauraGreat little stay hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are very decent in size perfect to have 2 double beds. Rooms were very clean and bright. Tram is a must if the weather is bad! Luckily there's a stop just across the road from the hotel as its 45 mins walk from here to north Pier
SSharonsolutely amazing hotel ...staff are so friendly nothing was too much for them if there's anything you need they will cater for it if possible ...the Foods amazing ... the bar is well priced the swimming pool and sauna is cheap perfect for families and couples ..
Definitely will be going again
3rd time I've stayed here it's amazing
GGuest UserWas a nice place but the staff could do with some training at the main desk, not everyone had stayed there before so it would be nice to be told where the lift to the room was and where the dining hall and entertainment rooms where too. The dining hall is on the 1st floor by the way. 😃
GGuest UserClean and tidy room, quad with private bathroom, 2 double beds. Blinds on windows instead of curtains and not blackout blinds, which left gaps in so people could see into room. Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.
The average price for hotels in Blackpool is AED 542 on weekdays, and AED 653 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
