"The place is old and has seen better days. Most Britannia hotels are like this, but I like the old-fashioned buildings. Our room was clean, breakfast was lovely and most staff were friendly. The bingo should have been in the adults only bar, as there was far too much noise and human traffic. It was great to see it busy, but not everyone was sober and respectful, so it was good to see security guards patrolling the hotel It was disappointing that the spa pool was closed, as this was a selling point for us."

"Firstly, the sign on the door says, ”Tudor Rose Original” - in case anyone was wondering. There's not many places which are on the promenade for a family of 4 for <£40. We stayed in the quad room, which had a double and 2 singles, perfect for the 4 of us. It's a very short walk to the beach, South Pier, Water Land, Pleasure Beach and there's a Whetherspoons around the corner. The tram stop is also close by (South Pier). The welcome we got was nice. Sarah and Robert were nice. We needed toilet roll, milk and mugs for the room which were quickly stocked. The curtain rail fell down immediately on entering the room, and it was taken care of quickly. They have free pool and fussball in the living room and we're playing energetic music which I liked. The bar is empty, but Sarah told us that bringing in alcohol was not a problem. Very nice welcoming people. The room was fine. Theres always 3 things that I look for in a room: 1) Comfy bed 2) Cleanliness 3) Hot water and working shower 1) Beds were fine actually. I thought the mattresses were a bit ”springy” - as in I could feel the springs. But we all slept on them fine. 2) Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The carpet needs changing, and we found some rubbish (sweet wrappers) behind one of the chairs in the room that wasn't ours. Also the curtains looked a little suspect (?mould on them). Blinds would be a nice replacement. 3) The shower was awful unfortunately and what really let this stay down. The hot water wasnt the problem, but the shower shot out first boiling hot water, then when the cold water eventually caught up, the pressure dropped significantly and so I could only have a warm dribble shower. This may need addressing. It could be because we were on the third floor, but it was still slightly disappointing. We were given towels for the room too. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work either. All in all, for a last minute booking, it was a cheap and cheerful stay. 7/10"

"First of all, the biggest advantage of hotels in this area is their good accessibility. They are close to National Rail and National Express stations, so it is easy to travel to London or other cities immediately after arriving. And this James Bond hotel is clean. The Plaza Hotel next door has some smelly rooms, but this hotel is clean and has no smell. I recommend it. There is also a bar in the basement so you can enjoy it."

"I have stayed at this hotel and overall it is an average hotel. Here is my review: First of all, the hotel's location is relatively convenient. It is located in the city center, with many restaurants and shops nearby, and the transportation is also relatively convenient. This satisfies me. However, the hotel rooms are a bit dated and the furniture and decor need to be updated. The bed and bedding are quite comfortable, but overall the cleanliness of the room could be better. Breakfast is buffet style and provides some basic choices, but the variety is relatively limited and the quality is average. The service attitude of the staff was acceptable, but it lacked some warmth and care and did not make me feel like a home away from home. Overall, this hotel is suitable for travelers looking for affordable accommodation, but if you have higher expectations for comfort and service, you may want to consider other options. I hope the hotel can improve the room decoration and service level in the future."

"For the price you can’t complain, bathroom was slightly small but room was big enough. Really clean and the woman receptionist was friendly. Can either pay £10 next to the property for the day or pay £7 in the churches car park."

PParnavsamOverall, it was an amazing experience, aside from a few minor issues. **Positive:** 1. The location was good, although it was a short walk from town. However, there is a tram service that runs every 10 minutes, and the cost was £12 per day for three people, which provided unlimited travel for the whole day. 2. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from. 3. The hotel environment was pleasant, featuring a nice reception and lobby area. 4. The room included a safe where you could store valuable items like your laptop and tablet for extra protection. **Negatives:** 1. Our toilet bin was not emptied after cleaning, and they forgot to replace the extra tissue roll in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. 2. There were no slippers or facial tissues provided in the room. 3. The bar was very quiet, and we were so bored that we didn't visit again.

SSharmayneEverything was fine, friendly staff, right opposite a tram stop, lovely view from the bedroom window and comfy bed. One issue I had was I booked room only and tried to pay for dinner at the hotel but for that whole week, they only catered to a certain amount of people which meant I had to go off premises to eat dinner. Other than that, no issues and would stay again.

GGuest UserThe quality of this hotel was not great, but all we wanted was somewhere to sleep while we were in Blackpool so it served its purpose, and for the valid it was perfect. Be aware that although the hotel says there is WiFi, it is only on the lobby and doesn't reach the rooms. We also didn't have a remote for the TV and it wouldn't work without, although we asked for one multiple times, the staff were unable to find one that worked for our TV. The walls are very thin and you hear every noise from around the hotel. Luckily (also unfortunately) our room was the furthest away possible. The water pressure on the shower was amazing. The hotel water on the tap comes out boiling hot straight away. Overall, the quality of the hotel wasn't great, but for the price it was everything we needed

GGuest UserWe visited this place with friends, 5 of us, and got a great service for 5 people in 2 different rooms. We shared one toilet. We paid 118 quids for service which is quite nice for 5 people staying for a night. As we were visiting the Blackpool pleasure beach and carrying backpacks would have been difficult so we requested the hotel staff to keep our luggage while we checked out and were gone out for the entire day, and thankfully they agreed. All in all I loved the overall service, highly commendable.

GGuest UserClean and tidy room, quad with private bathroom, 2 double beds. Blinds on windows instead of curtains and not blackout blinds, which left gaps in so people could see into room. Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.

MMichelle j PatersonRoom was very small only had 2 side drawers so very little storage for clothing. Room was very small for a family of 4. There was 2 sets of bunk beds one with a double on the bottom. Very wobbly and unstable. Unfortunately the top bunk was broken and had been fixed ( if you can call it that) with a blank of wool onto mettle frame. There was broken metal sticking out of the bed frame and spars were unsafe and moved when my child climbed into it. I ended up putting the mattress on the floor which ment there was no walking space between the beds. Toilet didn't flush properly and had to muck about with it to flush. Shower leaked when the water was turned on. No handle on the window to open or close it properly and when I was able to close it was a fight to push it open again. Hotel advertised breakfast but once speaking to manager was told there was no breakfast available and hotel didn't do any catering. Hotel was very rundown and in a very ruff area. Police were in the street every nite and there was a stabbing right outside the hotel. After speaking to other guests all rooms seemed to be in the same state of disrepair. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

GGuest UserDecent hotel for the price. Isn't the cleanest hotel but sort of acceptable. Would recommend to those looking for a cheap stay but if you have a little extra budget then better off spending the little extra for something better. Was allowed to check out later than usual which was very beneficial to get a little extra sleep in after enjoying the night out.
