If skiing or mountain biking is your thing, then head over to Baldy Mountain and Sun Valley Resort.We are within a few hours driving distance to some of the best National Parks, Craters of the Moon National Monument, Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. Not to mention quite a few state parks--City of Rocks National Reserve, Castle Rock State Park, Ashton to Tetonia Trail with the majestic Mesa Falls, Henry's Lake State Park, Lucky Peak State Park, Thousand Springs, Malad Gorge, and Shoshone Falls.Our little town is nestled in between the Sawtooth, Pioneer, and Lost River Range Mountains with Borah Peak (Idaho's tallest peak) just over an hour away. We are truly central to almost every type of recreation imaginable. We do have a small grocery store/greenhouse (Itty Bitty Farms) but the closest major grocery store is 25 minutes away.
