Amazingly clean, all of the staff are so kind. They've remodeled the old historic property and made everything shiny and new. We had such a great time, and I'd love to come back and spend the weekend in their house out back when it opens & the weather is nicer! The lawn is so cute!

This boutique motel is a hill country gem! They have updated all of the rooms so you can expect a very hip and fresh western feel in any of the rooms. The bed was so comfortable. The friendly staff on site are there most hours of the day and greet you when you arrive. They even leave water bottles, snacks, and coffee for you! There is a fire pit with complimentary wood on site. There are also grills and several seating areas. This place is fun for a group, family, or just a solo getaway! Also - smart TVs for the win! You can easily get to the main square and the Blanco State Park. We loved the lunch special at Old 300 BBQ and the gelato from Oro Bianco! The motel left a brochure with recommendations for things to do in the city, so we'll have to make a trip back to try it all! Definitely recommend this place :)

What a great place. These friendly people got it right. This is an older motor inn redone very well it has such nice rooms and so very clean. Baskets of snacks coffee and water. Such comfortable beds. This sweet couple did it right. I love spending my money with a mom and pop place instead of the big chains. It was centered in the hill country so we could explore on little day trips. The owners clean the rooms and it was lovely. Great job Blanco county Inn.

Don't do it! I've been staying at Blanco County Inn for 16 years, an average of 4 times a year, and this is my first time since new management took over in summer 2022. And it will be my last. They want your money, not your business. There is literally no one to speak to about anything - not to reserve a room (you have to go to a website), and not to get service for anything (you have to send an email). My TV wasn't working right, and WIFI wasn't working. Sent an email. Got an apologetic email response saying that it was first priority the next (Saturday) morning. Just before noon on Saturday, another email: Sorry, it won't be fixed til Monday. I emailed back: Did you come take a look at it? No response. A few hours later, I emailed again: Please call my cell number. No response. The room's shelves (with supposedly clean dishes) were dirty. No microwave in the room. No waters in the fridge. The ice machine on site was turned off. The nice outside marquee sign is no longer lit at night. The new owners don't want to inconvenience themselves with customers showing up and making them work. When I requested a refund for the stay, another apologetic email, with no acknowledgement of a refund request. During all of this: Not a single phone call from anyone. They're hiding behind an email box, with no concern for the customer. And now, sadly, I no longer have concern for the Blanco County Inn. What a disappointment.
