We live in a big house in one of the exclusive suburns of Los Angeles. We had booked.Manoir for our wedding anniversary. We arrived on a rainy day when we made a turn into the property’s long tree lined driveway with thoroughbred horses with several mares with their foal, on either side of the driveway, we were not prepared for the beauty. My wife was teary-eyed with joy and she told me that let’s sell everything and move here, lol. There are several structures, we had a room in the main house with a loft, it was large and well appointed with beautiful views of the gardens and the pond. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more gracious. We signed up for the breakfast one morning, the quality and the variety more than made up for the cost. Besides, we got to visit the room, which is full of family memorabilia, including letter from president Eisenhower for the support of the owners during the war. The owners were very instrumental in helping us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. They also helped my wife with last-minute horse ride on Normandy Beach. I need to put a warning that my wife is an expert rider who rides every day, the group she went with went on the beach and ran full speed, which was scary even to her. Besides the unique beauty of the property, it is centrally located to visit most of the Normandy World War II sites. IT IS EXCEPTIONAL PLACE, I ONLY WISH I COULD HAVE GIVEN IT HIGHER RATING THAN FIVE STARS

When a place exceeds your expectations… We stayed for five nights in May. Upon arrival, we knew this was going to be magical. The grounds are immaculate. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable The estate is 800 acres, so plenty of room to hike or bike (they have bikes available) Breakfast is served from 8-10 Beatrice makes the best eggs and crepes We could have stayed for five more days…we been gone barely a week and I miss it already

Magnificent ! Everything from the stunning grounds, large rooms & beautiful grounds. If you’ve come from the hustle & bustle of any major city, it’s a truly relaxing experience , wonderful people who own/manage the Manoir, delicious homemade breakfast, 15 mins from closest town, Bayeaux and centrally located for lots of days trips. We will definitely be back to stay at Manoir De Cleronde

Our experience at Manoir de Cleronde was exceptional. Set on 900 tranquil acres, it provides the perfect, peaceful retreat from which to explore Normandy. The rooms are large and well appointed and these, as well as the common rooms, are beautifully decorated. A delicious breakfast is included. The staff was warm and welcoming, and generously provided tips on local restaurants and directions to sites that we wished to visit. The very best was sitting by the fireplace in the late afternoon with a glass of wine is this very beautiful manor home. It was truly a unique and very lovely experience. We'll be sure to return.

This was an amazing property for our family of four to stay in, to kick off our trip to France in early August 2022. Unlike most/all other TripAdvisor reviews that I'm used to seeing, the pictures and descriptions were 100% accurate ... it is an insanely beautiful property, in a dream-like setting, and with so warm and helpful owners/hosts. We stayed in "The Barn" and were stunned by the artwork and very large amount of space. Our children kept remarking how we were living like royalty, sitting at the beautiful long table and plotting our adventures for the next day ahead. Our children have had some very "spoiled" hotel experiences in the past (think Broadmoor in Colorado Springs) and this one still came out on top! I would highly recommend really taking the time to thoroughly explore this property, properly allocating the time to do so. Probably like many, we were in a rush to get from CDG to here on arrival, then to the D-Day sites of the next day, with a departure the day after. We found ourselves trying to scramble our schedule a bit to properly explore this property. One of the personal highlights of the trip for me was going for a run in the morning, exploring the plentiful trails through the woods in this gorgeous setting. Just breathtaking ... we hope to be back on our next trip to France!

This is the perfect place to stay in Normandy. The manoir itself is beautifully restored. We were in the family room on the third floor which is actually 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable for a family of 5. The delicious breakfast included a variety of baked goods, fruit, cheese & meat, yogurt, cereal, and made to order eggs. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed their suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the nearby towns. They also shared with us some of the history of the manoir itself which was quite interesting. The grounds surrounding the manoir are picture-perfect. Beautiful horses, gorgeous trees, rolling green lawns, peaceful ponds- so much to enjoy! We loved just walking around the property and soaking it all in. Our family spent three nights at Manoir de Cleronde, but we all wished we could have stayed longer. It was the highlight of our trip to France!

The Château is stunning. It is several hundred years old - fully refurbished- and hosts beautiful horses and working stables. The 800 acres of property include a lake, gardens and a rich history of significance in the Second World War. And the hosts simply could not be more accommodating. (Gwenael met me at the rental car drop off location and drove me to the train). Finally the breakfast provided each morning was exceptional. The only slight negative is the WiFi is a bit challenging. But overall we had a very peaceful and relaxing time.

Me and my family have been in this lovely bed and breakfast, we really think it is an amazing place to spend some days in… bedrooms are very nice, clean, well furnished with big bathrooms and all the comforts that you need. The bed and breakfast is in the middle of an amazing property with horses, little rivers and lakes that can be visited with the bikes that the b&b offers. Last but not least the owners and all the stuff are so gentle and available Casolo family

Manoir de Cleronde is amazing!!! We had 6 guests total so we reserved the barn and Cardinal Suite. Rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. We were traveling with 4 teens, and they loved the beautiful property and horses! We had a picnic outside one evening and kids ran around and played outside. It was a perfect location to D-Day sites and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting and eating meals in Bayeux. This property exceeded my expectations!!
