What a great hotel! I've stayed at the blue peter for three nights during my South Africa trip and had the best time! Gorgeous rooms with stunning views. Very very delicious food and friendly staff. The bar at the hotel is pretty nice too, a lot of people and great sunset views. I would recommend the hotel everyone who wants to have a great time and will be back for sure.

beautiful decorated, nice, helpful and friendly stuff, spacy rooms, always fruits to take, totally fine breakfast and you can ask for anything - we missed some hooks or likewise to hang up jackets and bags in the room, construction site in front of the hotel (which is not the hotel's fault) and extremely loud doves on the roof made it hard to sleep in in the mornings

The blue peter is an icon to our family for over 35 years. Great atmosphere and really good pizzas. However after not visiting for over a year I found their menu was not as good as it use to be. Especially the pizza menu. However if u are visiting Cape Town this place is a must

Warm welcoming staff from the minute I arrived. Went out of their way to make my stay very memorable. Excellent position walking distance to beach and restaurants/bars . Accommodation throughout is comfortable and well appointed. Good size bedrooms with either sea or pool views . Air on throughout Nice variety of breakfast. Will return .. cannot fault this B&B.

I stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2025. Hotel was spotlessly clear throughout. Room are compact but well appointed with a great shower and comfortable bed. Only slight criticism is the air-con unit which points straight at the bed which made it a little chilly from the fan but better than no air-con. I would still stay here again though The guest house is literally at the beach so great location, with a great coffee shop over the road and nice restaurants within walking distance. It also offers a laundry service which was prompt and well priced. Fabulous place.

First of all a great location right at the Bluebergstrand - walking distance to a few eating places and shopping. Great view of the Table Mountain - most of the time! The Guest House is very nicely equipped, the rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast is great, the staff members are nothing else than very friendly. And I like the Honesty Bar as well, which we frequented a lot...

We had a pleasant stay. Rooms clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast with special request of brewed rooibos. Staff brilliant especially Mable who was extra welcoming making us feel at home. Would strongly recommend
