Hotel Goldener Berg

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Goldener Berg in Lech. What makes this place really special is its unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location—stepping right onto the slopes in the morning was such a luxury! After long days on the mountain, the spa area was exactly what we needed. The outdoor hot tub with breathtaking mountain views was a highlight, and the sauna and steam rooms were great for unwinding. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. Probably the best spa area I have ever experienced at a hotel!! The staff were truly exceptional—friendly, professional, and always eager to help. We felt welcomed from the first moment, and their attentiveness really made a difference. Dining was another highlight of our stay. We had several amazing evenings at Alter Goldener Berg, the cozy next-door restaurant, where the food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We also dined at The Johannisstübli in the hotel, which was equally impressive—the dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and perfectly matched with great wines. Both restaurants offered a fantastic dining experience that we would highly recommend! The staff at these two restaurants were equally excellent!! Overall, if you’re looking for a comfortable and well-located ski hotel with top-notch service, a really great spa, and excellent dining options, Hotel Goldener Berg is a fantastic choice. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

My family and I just came back from a six night stay at this lovely hotel, and it could not have been more wonderful. The staff is amazing, location superb, food delicious, and the ambiance unparalleled. Rooms are very comfortable. Spa is the perfect way to relax after a beautiful day of skiing. High recommend the outdoor pool. Many comfortable and welcoming places to relax and unwind.

Amazing hotel in one of the best ski resorts. We (as a family of 5) spent a week at Goldener Berg over New Years and really loved it. Amazing spa and heated outdoor pool (the kids absolutely loved the pool), ski-in ski-out, excellent restaurants, very friendly service and personnel and great program on New Year's Eve. Friendly and familiar atmosphere in a cozy boutique style hotel. This is exactly what you imagine of an Austrian family-run hotel. The owner, Mrs Pfefferkorn, is very friendly and caring. She always made sure that everything was alright and all guests could enjoy their vacation. We even made new friends their with another family we connected with. Will definitely go there again!

We enjoyed a remarkable 4 day yoga retreat. We enjoyed the most the exceptional yoga practices, the amazing service and friendly staff from receptionist, barkeeper till cleaning ladies - everyone is relaxed and very accommodating! The rooms are lovely and well designed. The new wellness area was amazing. We will come back!

This hotel is an absolutely wonderful place to completely relax, recharge and refresh, and come out as new :-) The rooms are well designed and very comfortable, the staff is absolutely lovely and helpful and the location is unsurpassed. Not to mention the high quality yoga classes and massages, the exhilirating guided walks, the stylish spa and last but not least, the excellent kitchen. I could not have wished for more.

We have been coming to Goldener Berg for many years. This year again we were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. A big compliment how all of the people working in Goldener Berg make guests feel special and at home. A main reason to return!
