Hotel Bergkristall Oberlech

Great holiday. The staff was good. Especially Melanie at the Restaurant was great, she was such a lovely person, interested in the guests, remembering what each of us like to drink at the breakfast and evening. (We were three families, total of 10 people) She made the personal touch to our holiday. We felt as her guests. The owner family was always in the house, following details, when we got a clogged toilet, the owner himself helped. When my son broke a bone, he came pick us up from the Umschlaghalle. Just, what would have been nice is a ‘Gute Besserung’ wisch from the family, which noone except Melanie and the sweet Bosnian cleaning lady said. That would made any guest more cared.

We had a perfect stay at Hotel Bergkristall. It provided a very relaxing experience and was nice to return from the slopes to the inviting hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodated all of our requests. The breakfast was plentiful and beautifully displayed. Would have loved to get coffee before 7:30 especially with time changes, but that was a very minor issue for me. We intend to return next year. Thank you helping to make our first trip to Oberlech perfect!

Hotel Bergkristal is located in oberlech about 100 metres from the gondola that brings you into Oberlech from Lech below. The Gondola only access makes oberlech very special for visitors giving a very exclusive feel to the area but its still easy to get back and fourth as the gondola runs late into the night. Going into town is easy The Hotel is high end and very comfortable breakfast is amazing incredible continental selection even with a self opperated juice squeezing machine for the freshest juice you could ever have. Evening meals are very good with al la carte of set menu options. Luggage is delivered from the bottom gondola station to your room and returned for pick up in lech when you leave. A warm welcome is provided by the reception team and there are always staff around to help with queries. Our rooms were very comfortable and well serviced. Ski room is spacious and well set out . This is a real ski in ski out location and you can choose to ski down to Lech or get a chair up the mountain from oberlech and you can ski back to the ski room entrance at the end of the day. Not surprisingly the hotel is pricey but very competitive with surrounding options so provides value for money if you have the budget. We had a rather complicated back and fourth with planned early depatures and an injury requiring unplanned early return and the room rate was adjusted for the missing guest the hotel took this all in its stride. Exceptional place with stunning design, superb spa and cuisine. Service is phantastic, staff is friendly and hospitable. Great location too with stunning mountain view.

This family run hotel is just the perfect place to stay. Great food, friendly & professional staff, wonderful wellness area, magnificent decoration and most important: "you feel at home from the very first moment you enter this hotel"!

This is the fourth time we have been to Bergkristal, second as a whole family for a week skiing before Christmas. Yet again, a wonderful experience - superb food, great service and a very welcoming environment.
