Coco Bodu Hithi

My partner and I just got back from Cco Bodu Hithi yesterday. We stayed there from 3rd Jan to 8th Jan 2025 with a couple of friends. I had been to The Maldives 13 times and I am glad to say that all of us had an awesome holiday. We arrived in the Maldives during a heavy thunderstorm. Went straight to Counter B1 and the man at the counter met us with wide smiles and small talks while he got the boat ready for us to ferry us to Coco Bodu Hithi. The ride was around 40 mins due to the heavy rainstorm and choppy conditions of the sea but having been to Maldives in worse weather, I wasn't worried much but our friends, who were First Timers, were a little worried but put on their brave faces. If you get sea sick easily, best come prepared with some sea sickness pills and have them just before your plane lands. We were given glass bottles or water while on the boat and they also have wifi onbard. We got to the island in the rain but the staff still greeted us at the island's jetty with enthusiasm. We were handed warms towels to wipe our hands and faces. Our Chinese host Yaslynn introduced herself to us and handed each of us a small memento necklace made of coconut leaves and yarn. We were then provided umbrellas and made our way to the reception for the official check in. We could tell the island was beautiful even in the rainstorm and strong wind lol. After we checked in and made some payments, we were driven on a buggy to our water villas. As this is a mature resort, the greenery are all very well-establish, tall and lush. The buggy was not able to go on the above-water walkway as it was a tad too narrow for buggies, we walked from the edge of the island to our over-water villas in the rain with our host. We had booked "Water Villa with Private Pool" from Agoda. Prior to our booking, I have watched many videos on YouTube on this resort so I know that the villas would be a bit dated and the tiles in the pool were peeling. However, it is rare to find a water villa with a sizable private pool for around SGD1000 in Maldives so we know what we are probably going to get. After our host showed us the room and the arrival of our luggage in the heavy rain, I discussed with our friends and we decided to try to upgrade our rooms to the Escape Water Villas. Our very helpful host Yaslynn immediately checked for us if they have any vacancies and how much it would cost while we went for a late lunch at the restaurant/bar Latitude. The pizza and finger food were good. After that, I went to pay for the additional cost for the upgraded rooms and then we switched room in the heavy rain, with much appreciated help from our host, who braved the wind and rain to help us moved our luggage to the new rooms. If you are not on a very tight budget, I would suggest that you get yourself the Escape Villas. They are very spacious, and you have a wonderful view of the sea right from your bed. The bed is huge. I could not have had a better experience at this resort! Booked an Escape Villa to recover shortly after a family tragedy; I needed to get away. My host Gowtham could not have been more kind: he was there to check in on me when I needed it without ever being obtrusive, and I felt well cared-for. Receptionist Yoonas was there just to talk when I needed it. The rest of the staff is excellent as well: after I asked for a doggie bag from a visit to one of the premier restaurants (Stars) that had been included in my trip, and I inadvertently left without taking it, two staff members brought a carefully-wrapped dish to my Villa all the way on the other side of the island! The water is so so beautiful, and you can see tropical fish from the piers, and I could see them even from inside my villa. Snorkelers' paradise! The food was varied and all delicious. There is a friendly heron who hangs out at the main restaurant and visits the guests (don't feed it). I had a fabulous massage at the Coco Spa and emerged a new person. Everything about this place is magical. I am saving my pennies to go back.

We had an experience of a lifetime here at coco bodu hithi. From our arrival until departure we were literally treated like royalty. Our Water villa was stunning, food had a good variety. I would suggest though they work on the supplements for all inclusive guests. As we had to pay for a few things here and there even though we had booked an all inclusive holiday. Which was really surprising as we have had other all inclusive trips to other parts of the world before. It was my birthday on the 24th and everything planned was made to perfection. The staff here at are the heart of this place, oh my gosh, always smiling, willing to help, very humble. Special thanks to our host Syrus, that man knows his job and knows it very well. Hari at the aqua restaurant is a super excellent guy who made our dinners exceptional. Not to forget Mohammed who was responsible for cleaning, this guy literally comes in twice a day to tidy. I could go on and on.. We loved, loved our stay here and will definitely be back

Just wonderful. The villa, service, cleanliness and the food and drinks was astounding. The staff were amazing. Can’t wait to go back Dining experience and quality for food was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Weather was iffy but it didn’t detract. 3rd time in the Maldives and this was so much the best one.
