We came for a week and stayed for over a month. Spacious room, nice terrace, good value for money. Manager / cook Hasan and guesthouse owner Shabyr made our stay really enjoyable. Bodufolhudhoo is a small and quiet local island with large and clean bikini beach featuring fantastic sunset view and very few tourists (if any) any time of day. Very beautiful house reef for snorkeling with turtles, reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, pufferfish and a lot of various reef fishes. Swaggering heron coming every evening to sit on the pier’s roof. There is a dive center in the island, where I’ve done my advanced open water course and dived in world famous spots nearby like Maya Thila and manta cleaning station, often being the only diver in the boat. Traveling many other local islands in Ari Atoll and elsewhere we always remember Surf Retreat and Bodufolhudhoo with a sincere gratitude.

Good value for the money. Close to the beach. Friendly staff. Bodufolhudhoo has a very good house reef 75 m from bikini beach. I have been visiting Bodufolhudhoo and surf retreat 4 times and I will come back.

I stayed at surfretreat. this guest house is in an island called AA.Bodufolhudhoo. The room was spacious, clean and hygienic. the receptionist was very helpful. Beach was incredibly neat. overall it was a great experience definitely will recommend to stay at this guest house. will be choosing this guest house for my next trip to Maldives for sure.

I have had the best vacation of my life! Ibrahim, the host of the hotel, has helped me with everything, from when he received me until he said goodbye to the accommodation, always with honesty, a lot of happiness, enthusiasm and, above all, comfort. The farewell has been incredible and the local people of this island are the best in Maldives. I love them all! I will come back for sure! It's been amazing♥️
