Welcoming staff who willingly attend to little tasks are what make this hotel friendly It has a sauna and swimming pool(did not partake) Food seemed complex ,a lot of pastry and chicken and unusual sauces - not really the answer if walking many miles a day ( on an organised coach tour with limited choice )but option of going to à la carte restaurant a table away Great Alsace wines Delightful surrounding

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned about staying at this hotel but went with an open mind & so pleased I did I went as part of a coach tour,Leger. The hotel has obviously been refurbished over the last couple of years & everywhere was clean, fresh & modern. The layout is quirky,& everyone did get lost trying to find their rooms,or to go to the dining areas but that just added to the hotels charm. The rooms are basic but clean & refurbished. They could do with having a full length mirror & some more shelving in the bathroom. The beds were comfy & bedding lovely. There is no air con ,so I asked for a fan & 1 was delivered to the room within 10 mins. The service is really good. The chef is fantastic. I have food allergies plus don't eat meat & she did different meals for me no priblem. The food is freshly made modern ,beautifully presented, using local ingredients ,& just that bit different .The continental breakfasts were lovely too. The hotel is in a very quiet village,no shops ,but perfect for hiking etc & very well placed for a coach tour to visit the beautiful villages & towns on the Alsace wine route. The staff at this family owned hotel were so helpful & very welcoming. I can recommend staying here.

This is by far the worst room I have been in. Scart leads left but no TV, door wouldn't lock but this finally sorted. Also hole in wall and dirty tables and chairs out to roof. Worst bit is how dangerous the slabs to that is. The slabs rock back and forth and nothing to hold on to. A accident waiting for someone. Went to reception but was so rude, asking what my problem was.

Hotel was ok but rooms a bit dated because we were part of The Caledonian Tour they could only offer us one course for dinner which was Chicken for €15 sorry I don’t like chicken do we had to do with crisps the staff were rushed off their feet but we’re friendly enough breakfast was ok nice coffee

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach holiday. We had requested a room with walk in shower and disabled access. We got what we asked for. My wife relies on a mobility scooter and we were not able to access the main entrance, but we’re quickly shown alternative entrance and exit through the kitchens. A little uncoventional but quite acceptable to us with easy access to our room. WELL DONE! Food was excellent and staff very helpful and pleasant. Room was good, but a little hot due to weather. Could possibly benefit from air conditioning. The location was in a small village in a lovely part of rural Alsace. Very peaceful. Had some lovely evening meals on the open air terrace. Overall a good hotel. Look forward to my next visit.

I stayed here over Christmas with a coach party. First impressions were that the steps and optional ramps to the entrance were steep and quite exhausting. Similarly, inside the building. there were steps to reception, which was quite sparse in decor and welcome. The tiny lift accommodated 4 people max. Rooms were basic but clean and well serviced. The highlight for me were the dinners, which were cordon bleu (perhaps not welcomed by the meat and 2 veg brigade), and the Christmas Eve meal was a triumph! Breakfast was also good, although more hot selections would have been welcomed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Overall I welcomed the French querkiness of this hotel, a breath of fresh air from bland and sterile international hotels that could be anywhere in the world. I would come again just for the food. Thanks to all

Stayed for 4 nights on the Leger Holidays Christmas in Alsace tour. Generally the Hotel was good. Room was comfortable although there was only one bedside table and no safe. The Bathroom was adequate and had a hairdryer but looked a little tired and could do with a good deep clean. The room had a key entry and the key was attached to a large chunk of wood with seems a bit outdated when most hotels have the more convenient card entry. The Hotel itself is certainly not friendly to people with mobility issues. Small lift and lots of stairs. Breakfast was strictly continental and we couldn't find any breakfast tea, luckily we took our own! However the Dinner and Christmas Lunch was outstanding. Nadia and her team worked very hard and the quality and presentation of the food was amazing. They certainly made every effort to ensure our Christmas was exceptional and one we will remember. All the family and staff worked hard and deserve a warm thank you!

My wife and I were recently on a wine through beautiful Alsace. The highlight of the tor turned out to be our sray at otel des Vosges in Klinental. It is a charming famiy wned hotel. The room was pleasant; the breakfasts were amazingly delightful; and the dinners were fabulous. Most of all we are thankful for the warm and gracious hospitalet shown to us by the hotel's family. We look forward to returnere soon.

We took a 10-hour bus ride with the school to meet up in the little town where they send checco zalone in Quo Vado. Don't go there on a school trip, other guests are treated better with clean and bigger rooms. Mold on the walls, piss on the mattress, hair and hair on the blankets. Luckily we read the reviews in advance and brought our sleeping bag and degreaser to clean the toilet. Breakfast speciality: expired snacks, dinner: bread. For €100 a night go to Barcelona The only nice thing is the swimming pool but forbidden to students 💀
