Crystal Waterworld Resort & Spa - Ultimate All Inclusive

We booked this as a family of 3 my son age 12. Looked good on photos with the slides to entertain him during the day, from when we turn up the experience was very different, we asked to change room immediately which we was told we couldn’t request that till the following day at 11 after people had checked out, the room was unclean and very small for a 5* hotel, smaller than a travel lodge this is not was I expected for hotel this size and price. The bedding was uncomfortable—more like thick towels than proper blankets. We endured two cold nights and several discussions at the reception before we finally received a normal blanket. Providing all guests with proper bedding instead of inadequate alternatives would be a simple yet important improvement. Food quality was another major issue. It was consistently unappetizing, not fresh, and alarmingly repetitive. During our eight-day stay, the main buffet served the same dishes every day. On our first day, we wanted to book an à la carte restaurant but found all reservations fully booked and they only open 3 days a week, my son lived on bread rolls and bolognaise all week. The staff were unhelpful the people were rude the area was bleak and you had to get a taxi to town for anything decent. The pool was very cold, I wanted to return home after day 3! I’ve never ever felt like this about a holiday before. I will never return to turkey, the company we booked the holiday through done nothing as they said the money goes directly to to the hotel and the hotel refused to do anything Very let down by all parties involved

I traveled on my own with my 2 daughters. We had an amazing week in this resort. Something to do all day along. Staff are working very hard and never drops smile from their face. Great food selection. Waterslides are great fun. Evening entertainment every night. Definetly value for money. All staff made us feel very safe and no request was too much. My youngest daughter has lost her iphone and within and hour reception had contacted us to let us know it was found. The only thing i did not like was an attitude of some other people staying in the resort. Seems like they think once they have paid “all inclusive” they expect everything “ there and then”! Staff in this hotel could not work any harder! Everyone was amazing and sometimes saying “ thank you” goes a long way!

Main buffet restaurant can be overwhelming, despite us visiting near the end of the season. More cutlery and staff are needed. We would not recommend the Italian restaurant, but the underrated Fish restaurant is well worth a reservation. The mojito bar is like rocket fuel, so if you want to be drunk by the early afternoon, do stop on by. The pools, beach and waterpark are pristine and we spent many hours enjoying all. Props to the waterpark, the slides equally meet/beat most waterparks I have previously visited. Watersports on the beach have a wide variety for all occasions and guests. The knock-off bazaars a few metres away from the hotel are filled to the brim with good quality fakes. The hotel is about 25 minutes from Land of Legends, the centre of town and plenty of restaurants. If you planning to get a cab, order an Uber as the local taxi drivers will con you for extra cash and will refuse to put the meter on. The rooms could do with a refresh. Minibar was very well-stocked and refilled every day at NO CHARGE! The one downside was the maids who are clearly rushed off their feet, as bed was never properly made, and after dropping a glass accidentally on the floor this was not noticed by the cleaning staff for a few days, despite myself trying to clear it all away. The on-site Irish Bar, clothing shops, arcade, cafes and Turkish Delight shop are a real treat and all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The main guy who runs the spa tried to oversell us massively so we walked away, but Doctor Fish was an unexpected relaxing treat for our feet.

I’ve just returned home after a week’s stay at the Crystal water world. On arrival I was really impressed by the bell boy on arrival straight to our mini bus to collect the luggage from us, unlike the greeting we received once we was checking in , not a very nice receptionist, miserable & couldn’t be bothered greeting us with a smile. The bell boy took us to room 4405 on the 4 floor , very polite once again , shown us how to work the air con etc . We unpacked & noticed there was no kettle in the room as stated when we booked, we went to explore the hotel which was massive & we ask reception for a kettle to which they said they would get one to the room for us, not a problem I said. From what we could see people were coming in from the pool/ beach as was early evening, after a long day we decided to go into the main restaurant for something to eat , well I’ve never seen anything like it… people barging past each other , rude arrogant no manners … we managed to get something to eat & go and sit down , you had to get your own drinks which I found unusual for a 5 star , and that I’ve received from other 5 star accommodation we’ve been too, the restaurant I found to be dirty where you was seated , there was food on the floor that had been spilt & the staff just stood about waiting to clear tables, I thought what the hell . We left the restaurant & went to the Irish bar which I thought great … go’s in , no atmosphere, no music, just the Turkish radio, by this time we was so tired we just wanted to go to bed. The room when we went back up I couldn’t believe there was a ventilator system on the roof I didn’t realise this earlier in the day when we unpacked I thought it was the air con , couldn’t believe I was sleeping to what sounded like a helicopter landing. Worse nights sleep ever bed was hard as a board not comfortable at all The following day we still had no kettle so again went to reception again was told they would get one to us We went to use the main pool before breakfast but all around it is covered & the beach part is also so if you want to use the main pool and want to sunbathe you don’t have a chance to get a tan there, we went to the slides swimming pool were there was umbrellas if you wanted to be covered up so was great. Having breakfast in the main restaurant again well I couldn’t believe it, no cups available for a coffee which I asked for and the member of staff search high & low for cups for us , massive restaurant and no cups he gave me 1 cup , I said I needed 2 again he searched got me one , but didn’t replenish any cups , couldn’t believe what I was seeing , totally put me off this restaurant, the public toilets in the hotel were cleaner than this restaurant , this certainly needs changes to it either a retrain of staff , cleanliness & more of a variety not just for other people Pool area with slides great here a really good laugh watching people on the slides , word of warning pool is freezing . There is a snack bar there

Really lovely hotel, staff are so lovely too! The bar guys are hilarious! Always happy to help and make you laugh! Photographer Zeus was amazing, he made such an effort with our children and our little boy Tommy absolutely love him! Cleaners always cleaning and trying their best around the pool etc. The hotel itself is big with two big pools, so many bars, restaurants but book asap as they get booked up quickly! We managed to get into the Italian which was great!! So much variety for everyone in the buffet restaurant and we never struggled to find a table! Beach is beautiful and nice for a change. There’s some shops opposite and it’s not too far from the airport! We left our baby bag at the hotel and the staff are still helping us via WhatsApp to get it returned to us! Honestly cannot complain about the place.
