Romantic Hotels in Bohol Island

Having our wedding at Bellevue Resort was definitely the best choice! Our wedding was delayed by Covid for 3 years and there were a few staff changes and Sheila Baldo has picked up where the last events manager left off without a hitch. She was always available, polite and open to ideas. We looked around at other venue options and the beach front privacy and luxe experience Bellevue offers are incomparable. What we love most about the event was the food which was above and beyond the expectation for a buffet - it certainly tasted like fine dining, the attention to details and the execution of everything we have agreed on. My family and I have had such a great time spending our wedding and holiday/reunion in Bellevue. The daily breakfast buffet options were always exciting and cater to locals and foreigners alike. The koi pond is always a hit - you can do fish feeding, and I never tire walking past them. During our 5 day stay, they always have a quiet event at their beach front which says a lot about them being a very good choice as an events space for your important occasions. Some nights they had a live band to serenade diners at the restaurant. The staff - they are unbelievable! They were quick, accommodating, friendly and always at your service. What needs improvement on, however, was their spa and their massage therapists. We spoke to Drew, the manager, and plans to remedy this were actually on the way! I guess next time, we will have to try this out!

Nothing but praise for this resort! We love the privacy and the beauty that this place offers. We were warmly greeted by Sam at check-in, and she told us the wonderful news that we got an upgrade. The room was bliss! We had our own jacuzzi that overlooked their islet. It was super relaxing. It also helped that the room had access to an ever-exclusive beach. What more can we ask for? Well, more apparently. The resort has its own natural underground freshwater spring cave. Glenn, our personal guide was super awesome. We enjoyed our conversations with him and the information he provided us made the visit to the cave more eventful. Ana at the restaurant was a standout. Always smiling yet super efficient. A wonderful dinner experience! Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome and always at home at the resort.

Expensive, but worth it. Hospitality is top notch, never met so many nice people in my life, bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, and food was good. Massages were the best I’ve ever had in my life. If we ever came back to Panglao again, the ONLY reason we wouldn’t stay at Amorita again would be due to the price. Everything else was top notch.

staff was great ,was a very safe place to stay ,management was always around and friendly ,great place for couples we had a great 9 days, .the beach is clean and needs more lounge chairs on the beach and change the beer lounge to a regular lounge for after hours (9 pm) to have a drink or glass of wine with some music ,very clean ,WILL BE BACK

Seven of us, all hailing from Bangladesh, had a three-day stay at Solea Resort and Hotel in Bohol, commencing on September 21st. Our visit was official in nature, as we were accompanied by the esteemed Governor of Bohol Mr. Erico Aris Aumentado. During this visit, I had the privilege of receiving a gift from the governor intended for my German boss, which I later brought back to Solea Resort. However, on the morning of the 23rd, as I was preparing to check out of the hotel and packing my belongings, I made a distressing discovery. Two bottles of wine had mysteriously vanished from my room. Swiftly, I reported the incident to the front desk and the duty manager. They promptly conducted a thorough investigation, which included reviewing the CCTV footage, examining my room, and inspecting my luggage. Their scrutiny revealed that, apart from carrying an umbrella once, I had never taken anything from the room. Throughout my stay, my room was diligently cleaned every day by the hotel's cleaning staff, whom we were familiar with. This made the disappearance of the wine bottles all the more baffling. After three days of inquiries and discussions, I decided to approach the duty manager once more today. To my astonishment, he mentioned that they had seen me carrying bottles on the 22nd at the lodge, as per a WhatsApp chat he provided as evidence. However, when I challenged this assertion, he swiftly retracted his statement, admitting it was a mistake. In light of this unsettling experience, I feel compelled to caution fellow travellers about the security of their belongings while staying at this hotel.

I stayed in 6 hotels in Bohol, I think Bei Zen is the best, the service and exquisite breakfast are great. If you have to talk about the shortcomings, the location may not be good enough and there is no beach. But in terms of living, it is very cost-effective and perfect, clean and comfortable, and has everything. It has its own mangroves and sunset views. But regarding the location, in fact, tutu taxis are required everywhere, so it doesn’t matter. The front desk will also help call a taxi. It’s perfect if you are taking care of children and elderly people on vacation. I have stayed at the Panglao Island Spa Hotel. The beach is very fun, but the service and products used are not as good as Beichen.

Very peaceful. I snorkelled at front of resort, have to swim a fair distance out to hit reef as mostly kelp till you get to the buoy. At that point it feels a bit sketchy if you’re alone as I was, but there’s def some interesting things to see. Lots of blue starfish, clown fish and saw some puffer fish among many others. Resort is 8km from Anda town which hasn’t really got much going as far as food options go. The food at the resort is decent with enough variety. I booked the room facing the ocean, good view but if you’re a solo traveller all the pluses don’t justify the price of 6000 peso a night. If you’re a couple and want a peaceful romantic getaway where you don’t want to leave the compound this is more suitable. Staff are nice and helpful in restaurant, Richard at dive centre was helpful. The English guy who runs the dive centre doesn’t seem too interested in you if your not signing up for one of his dives.

The hotel is located in Anda, away from the complex of Panglao and Tagbilaran. The entire resort has 16 rooms, closed management, very good privacy, with large white sand beaches and clean sea water. The hotel's double rowing boats and skateboards can be played for free. If you are not tall, you can snorkel at the beachside of the hotel. For free, the hotel’s diving club also provides life jackets. There are several professional diving instructors in the hotel's diving club to teach diving. The hotel's boat is going out for diving three times a day (for a fee). As long as ten minutes of boating, both my husband and I participated, seeing turtles and many fish and corals, regret it. In Panglao, I wasted time to go to Baricasa. There are many similar faults and corals on the bottom of Anda, so I can see a lot of things and the one-on-one coach here is very safe. Many guests are diving two times a day. However, this resort is located in Anda, two hours drive from Tagbilaran, renting a car from Tagbilaran to 3000P, we have a car park from Panglao to play the Butterfly Garden, the tarsier reserve and the Chocolate Hill total 5000P fare. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it. It’s not comparable to Panglao ALONA. The beach is white and delicate, and the sea is quiet and beautiful. It is suitable for families who like quiet vacation. Need to remind domestic tourists that the resort does not provide disposable items in order to reduce garbage, you need to bring your own toothbrush slippers, etc., and three meals a day are in the resort, there is basically no possibility of going out for food, wifi is slightly worse, from time to time dropped, but The original nature of the resort is kept very good, the service staff is professional and enthusiastic, the resort lives next to the OWNER family, and comes to chat with guests every day.

Stayed for 3 days and was a bit far from Alona Beach, but fortunately there was a free shuttle bus at the hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are very new, and the complimentary breakfast is not bad. But the hotel is surrounded by villages, dirty and messy, the road to the hotel turned out to be a dirt road, the tap water and the water in the pool are all unpurified sea water, a bit salty, the whole of the island of Bohol. With a 12-year-old child, there is no extra bed, and 800p per night, which is a bit expensive. Since I go out to play every day, the overall situation is not bad, the environment there is the same. The level of consumption is comparable to that of first-tier cities in China.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a very relaxing time at the villas. The owners welcomed us as we arrived which was nice who are from Belgium. The swimming pool is nice and also relaxing. The rooms are fantastic inside, the rooms were very spacious and the shower was outside. The private garden as the villa was amazing and we wished we had more time to spend there! Would recommend for a small family and also couples! Alona beach is about a 15-18minute walk down to the beach but access is very easy by calling a Tuk Tuk from reception.
