The rooms are nice but my issue was the price of the food and wine. Our group had to pay £44 euros per person for a pretty basic buffet meal. The wine was extortionate at £39 euros and then when we looked the bottle up on our wine App it was only a 3 euro bottle so beware. If the food and wine had been better priced this would be a nice hotel to stay in.

We had a small room without a separate bathroom (shower and vanity in the same room). The booked "lake view" turned out to be a view of the chestnut trees in front of it. Not even a bottle of water was in the room. The dinner looked good, but could not score points in terms of taste. Wine selection modest and unfortunately also not good. Breakfast was ok, service nice. The room rate with more than 180 EUR completely covered, so no recommendation.

Übernachtung in der Bokel-Mühle vor einem Geschöftstermin ca. 15 min entfernt. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, modern ausgestatetes, sauberes Zimmer mit gutem Bett. Ruhige Lage, freundliches Personal. Abendessen und Frühstück top. Der See lädt zur Umrundung ein. Es war eine schöne Erfahrung, ich kann das Haus empfehlen.

Wir haben hier zusammen mit unserem Hund auf dem Weg nach Sylt eine Nacht verbracht. Das Hotel hat auf uns einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck gemacht, die Lage am See hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Personal war zu uns sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Die öffentlichen Bereiche sowie das Restaurant sind sehr weitläufig, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Das Frühstücksbüffet war für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie sehr gut. Besonders positiv in Erinnerung sind die leckeren Brötchen und die Presse für frischen O-Saft geblieben. In der Bibliothek, mit wenigen Tischen, saßen wir außerdem sehr ruhig und abseits des Trubels im Hauptraum. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. Ein Stern ziehe ich aus folgenden Gründen ab: - 15 Euro pro Nacht kostet der Hund: Gegenleistung dafür im Zimmer gleich null: Kein Napf, kein Deckchen, kein Extra-Handtuch. Nichtmal die Basics, die ggf. zusätzlicher Verschmutzung durch den Hund vorbeugen gab es. - 18 Euro kostete der große Salatteller mit Hähnchenbrust. Für diesen Preis erwarte ich mehr als einen Salat der zum Großteil aus günstigem Eisbergsalat und uninspirierter Rohkost (Karotte, Paprika, Bohnen) mit einer kalten Hähnchenbrust besteht. - Kein Wasser, kein Tee oder Kaffee - auch nicht gegen Bezahlung - bei Anreise auf dem Zimmer: Für uns fast schon Standard in kleinen Hotels. - Die Dusche im Zimmer ist Geschmacksache, uns störte das nicht. Jedoch gab es in der Dusche keinerlei Licht. Wenn man ein wenig Licht haben wollte, musste man die Vollbeleuchtung des Zimmers anmachen, das war ungeschickt. Abgesehen von den genannten Punkten, können wir das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
