Just spent 3 nights here. What a brilliant stay. Booked a single room ( shared bathroom ) with one other room. Can live with that. I managed to check in early ( just planned on dropping bag off) Staff were lovely. Was a very quiet And peaceful stay. Would stay there again.

The staff were great. Friendly and professional. Always responded to messages in a timely manner. Price is quite low. It did the job for a friend's trip where budget and expectations are on the lower side...but...one of the beds in our room was broken and the fix had been to put a block of wood underneath, which didn't particularly work well and provided a rough night of sleep. The lock on our door was basically hanging off the door when we arrived but they did fix it the next day . We shared a locked area with one other room so we weren't too worried about security but it's always a thought. Worse was the smell in our room area. Not sure if it was the plumbing in the shared bathroom but it was bad enough to sleep with the windows open and be happy we only had 2 nights there. Not sure I'd stay again even on a buddy trip. The price is great but I'd opt for an upgrade next time around.

Spectacular experience, a charming place and a fantastic atmosphere... A little bit of Morocco in Porto The room wasn't big but super cozy with everything clean The 5-star staff were always ready to help and discover the city I was also lucky enough to catch some wonderful sunshine in the middle of December in the garden I will definitely be back. Very poor breakfast, small room with uneven floor... and first it was one price, then another... More expensive of course... In general it's poor, a lot of noise at night, there was noise on the street that could be heard as if were in the room...

Me, my wife, our daughter and my in-laws had a great stay during the 12 days we spent in Porto. Room and bathroom always clean and staff were kind and attentive. A very pleasant outdoor area where we had breakfast and in the evening we enjoyed a few glasses of wine, after touring the beautiful city. Very close to the center (10 or 15 minutes walking), Mini Price and Pingo Doce supermarkets also 10 minutes away, bus stop at the door and between 2 Metro stations. Close to good shops and 2 minutes walk from a great restaurant (Solar da Alegria) with super affordable prices and excellent quality. Certainly if we return to the city we already know where to stay and would certainly recommend it to any friend. Thank you and a big hug from us to all of you.

Price: This is the cheapest room with private bathroom I found in Porto (55 euros / night). Room: very clean, but noisy. The window overlooked a nightclub and there were screams all night. Bathroom: very scruffy, but I can also accept it if clean. I can't tolerate stains on the towels though! For 3 days in a row! Breakfast: simple, classic, with a little sweet and savory. However I would have appreciated finding some Portuguese specialties. You can eat in the external courtyard. Location: on foot you can reach the bolhao or trindad metro station in 15 minutes and the cathedral in 25 minutes. It is not in the center, but still quite comfortable. Of course the road is uphill, like all the streets of Porto on the other hand.
