Alison, the Innkeeper, is truly one in a million. So welcoming, kind, engaging and heavy attention to details. I LOVE staying at the Inn. Kate keeps the grounds beautiful and always wood available for outdoor fire pit with inviting Adirondack chairs. Bed linens are amazing as are the soaps/shampoo. Fix yourself a cocktail and sit in a rocking chair on historic front porch and just relax. Anyone that stays at the Inn can’t wait to return.

Very welcoming staff. Great breakfast. Charming and close to downtown. Great coffee and snacks available. The only suggestion iron and ironing board. While only 6 rooms, there is only one of them. I know that we should share, but it is seldom that people returns the iron and ironing board as they keep it in their rooms until they leave. It is not a major investment to have one for each room. Not sure if it is a Boone thing of not having irons and ironing boards in each room, because we experienced the same at the Horton Hotel in a previous visit. That was the reason why we decided to try a different place. Sometimes it is the small things that makes the difference.

Room was clean and accommodating…House was surprisingly quiet and peaceful ! One of our favorite things about a B and B is the breakfast that awaits the next morning! The chef did not disappoint! Amazing breakfast that truly exceeded any dietary restrictions!

An absolutely lovely B&B. Very friendly and helpful staff. However, the breakfasts were the absolute best! Very flavorful and well-prepared. They also were decadent without being too rich. Everything was local and made from scratch. She was careful with the sweetness. And then, the cookies! Every afternoon cookies were set out - each was delicious. The chocolate chip cookies were some of the best I've had.

Best service ever, including a tour and super interesting historical information upon check-in. The hosts thought of every single detail possible to make our stay exceptionally relaxing and comfortable!! The breakfast was outstanding and attractively presented! Love how they use local products from small businesses - one of our passions and as local products usually are…so delicious! We will definitely come back.

This was, hands down, the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The bed and pillows were amazing. The food was exceptional, they catered to my multitude of food allergies. Staff was top notch. I could go on and on. This will be only place we come from now on.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Beautiful property, beautiful grounds, and more importantly, an absolutely wonderful staff. Jazz, Allison, Regan, Madeleine made our stay so pleasant. Kate has the grounds looking superb. Lastly, the breakfasts are the best we have ever experienced. Fresh baked cookies ready for you at all times. Highly recommended. We will be back. Very environmentally friendly.

A short walk to downtown Boone for shopping and dining. A cozy and historic inn with beautiful gardens and grounds. The waterfall is an added treat.Excellent gourmet breakfast from Chef Jax. Would book again, especially for a fall leaf trip.
