Most beutiful resort, we got a villa with two floors, fireplace, living room, kitchen and terrace. So cozy , do romantic. The breakfast in the garden was wonderful but even better was the dinner the night before. Amazing homemade food, truffles, wine , pasta, meat, desert. A wonderful place with the nicest service and great hosts. So romantic

What an amazing resort. Everything was perfect from the arrival to departure. The hotel is located outside of town so you need a car. Not too much to do nearby so enjoy the resort. It has everything from pools (including adult pool) tennis, gym, bike rental etc. rooms are spacious. Bathroom a little small. Rooms are well equipped with a functioning A/C (not everywhere in Italy). Parking is easy. Food was good. Great breakfast and dinner. Lunch available if you need. Very picturesque and charming resort. Used to be a country club. Staff was amazing. 5 stars for the staff. Highly recommend the hotel. WiFi was good though I read to the contrary.

Our stay was magical! The property is gorgeous. Like heaven on earth. The food is so fresh and delicious and the staff Giulia, Serena, Simona & the whole Monsignore’s team took excellent care of us! Excellent value for the level of care, facilities and restaurant! I can't wait to return!

We stayed here for 6 nights as part of our first international trip with our 7 month old. It was perfect as a Tuscan getaway with a baby. I’d say it’s a perfect resort for solo, couples, and family travels with young kids. I’m not sure it would keep older kids and teens excited enough but they were so kind and accommodating for babies. They provided a pack n play (travel cot) that was longer and slightly taller than standard size, and also a baby tub for the shower. Our table with a high chair was always ready for our dinner reservation. The apartment: we stayed in the Vasari apartment which I believe we booked as a junior suite. It was a 2 bed, 1 bath unit with a small kitchen. Being on the back side, ground/garden floor of one of the buildings, it was rather dark without lights but that was perfect for our baby as we could give him his own room and not worry about much sound or light. The room and resort as a whole was old but in a good way with so much character. If you’re looking for a modern stay with updated rooms and new everything this isn’t it, but not in a bad way. They could use some modern touches though like lamps with USB chargers. The Resort: so amazing with the right combination of amenities but also quiet and semi private-feeling. It never felt crowded and the staff were all kind and helpful with our little one, especially the restaurant. We enjoyed the pool, although not being heated it was a bit chilly for our baby. Next time we would enjoy the bike rentals and more time on the playground area behind the pool by the fields. The reception staff also helped with planning a few local wine tours and activity suggestions. Restaurant: we wanted a stay that had a full service restaurant with at least breakfast and dinner. We ate the small breakfast buffet every day, some days taking it back to our room. We loved the spread and were happy they had bacon and eggs every day. The dinners were amazing and the menu had enough options and changes every few days to keep it interesting. Truffle night was the best. Overall we would stay here again for a Tuscan get away. The location was convenient enough for a trip to Florence or a few wineries, with enough to do for a few relaxing days on property. For a more excursion based trip though, I would probably stay closer to Florence or more southern Tuscany. The staff were all kind and helpful and the grounds were well kept.

During our stay at Monseigneur de la Casa we ate in the restaurant on three occasions and every time the food and service was outstanding. I had a variety of meals as the menu changes daily (in terms that there is always a special daily menu). I had beef fillet with tartufo, a local pasta dish and a rack of lamb. Every item really good. The wine is limited in choice but very good with the Brunello the outstanding choice which I made. In terms of the overall stay i wholeheartedly reccomend the Hotel and restaurant

We travelled as a family of five and enjoyed our stay immensely. The hotel grounds are pristine and the landscape typical for Tuscany. The rooms are good with a working AC and super clean. The food is simply divine, especially for dinner. The breakfast buffet is lovely with lots of homemade items and delicious produce. The hotel and restaurant staff are lovely, warm and attentive. There is a spa, gym, tennis court and everything you need is provided, you can also take mountain bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings, and the hotel offers two yoga classes per week that are complimentary (at least during our stay in July). The hotel location is good for day trips to Florence and other sights in Tuscany. We will absolutely be back (possibly with extended family and friends - this place is great for reunions or maybe even for smaller weddings). We can‘t recommend Monsignor della Casa enough.

My family and I arrived at Monsignor on 10/24 and were there for 4 days. To say the place was superb would be an understatement. To begin with, I had so many questions about the location, things to do, access to transportation, etc. and with each email, Serena or Francesca not only responded immediately, but they also added to my list and gave me excellent advice in planning our stay. The two arranged for pick up at airport for us, arranged for drop off at train station, provide ideas of activities. They also set up us for a fabulous cooking class right in our villa. Chef Patrizia was our host and again..that deserves a review on its own. Breakfast each morning was provided and the staff (Christina), is the BEST! We felt like we were at home in our kitchen with family. Then dinner--was to die for! What can I say about Simone? We wanted to take her home with us! What we learned from our stay at Monsignor is that the staff is equally as important to the rooms and surroundings. Our 2 BR villa was lovely. It is an older villa and if I had to rate our stay at Monsignor on just the villa, I probably would give it a thumbs up but recognize that it was a bit tired--however that was so minor compared to the whole experience. We had everything we could ask for at Monsignor. Pool, tennis, spa, fabulous grounds, gardens, walking paths, and so much more. If you are looking for a getaway that is close to the hustle and bustle of a major city (Florence) but want to truly experience the small towns of Tuscany--this is the place! PLEASE don't pass this place by. We will return--over and over again!
