We stayed at the hotel for 10 days in a 4-bed room located in the main hotel building. For 6 of those days, we also had dinner at the hotel. Overall, the hotel appears very worn and untidy. The reception area and bar are cluttered and not inviting for relaxing or socializing. The rooms are very basic and run-down, and the shower door had fallen off. The rooms get very hot during the day. The beds are hard, and the cleaning is not thorough. The pool area is quite nice, and there is also a small bar by the pool where you can get lunch for 6 EUR. The hotel restaurant is closed at lunchtime. If you want to use the sunbeds by the pool, it costs 2 EUR per bed. The pool area is not reserved for hotel guests, as locals can also buy access. Please note that the tennis court, which is mentioned in brochures and online, was removed several years ago. Breakfast is of very inconsistent quality and really quite boring. You can choose between toast and croissants. There is also sliced cheese and a bit of cold cuts, which are not kept chilled in the buffet. There are also small yogurts and some cakes. We found the breakfast very disappointing. Juice and coffee/tea are also available. Dinner also varies in quality. First of all, be aware that a three-course meal costs 15 EUR if you choose half-board. Otherwise, it costs 25 EUR per day. The meal always starts with a different pasta dish, which is usually very tasty. This is typically followed by a meat dish, which can be either good or poor. One evening we had chicken that was so dry it was inedible. For dessert, there is cake, and children can choose an ice cream from the bar if they don’t want cake. The staff are very friendly and kind, but not all of them speak English. The hotel is also located about half an hour from the motorway, and approximately 1.5 hours from Bologna, 2 hours from Pisa, and 1.5 hours from Florence. We will not be returning to Hotel Maranni.

Do NOT come here under any circumstances I’m not sure what the other reviewers experience but I can tell you what i faced during my first night here. First, we arrived and they put us, not even sure if thats the hotel but there’s a lot of little houses, I had a room in house 6. To start, the room was small as f#%k, it was like 20 square meters for 3 people, there was NO air conditioning or a fan, so we had to leave the windows open all night, where we got bit by all kinds of bugs. The guys next to me found a blood stained towel, NOT to mention the towels are super thin, you genuinely CANNOT dry yourself with them, you can use them as deskmats. More people in our trip found cockroaches, mold and all sorts of things, so we got off easy, I’ll leave you with some pictures

I was there as a tour guide with a big group.Really helpful owners and staff, very clean rooms, the bed was comfortable, delicious meals every evening, tasteful wine and Aperol spritz :) nice surroundings. The only problem was that the bar closed a bit early. :) :) :) As a private person and a tour guide I can recommend 100%

Das Marrani war mit Abstand das beste Hotel auf unserer Reise. Das Essen war richtig gut und auch appetitlich angerichtet. Unsere Zimmer war einfach aber sauber. Die Einrichtung war nicht unbedingt modern, und die Klimaanlage hat gefeht. Etwas seltsam verlief unsere Ankunft als Gruppe. Einzeln in einer Schlange aufstellen, dann wurden 2€ pro Person Kurtaxe abkassiert und man musste gleich Getränke kaufen. Dann wurden uns von der (ich nehme an) Chefin die Tische zugeteilt. Der Ton hätte etwas freundlicher sein können. Dafür waren die Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Die Unterbringung in den kleinen Häuschen war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber ok. Das Frühstück stand pünktlich, wie ausgemacht, bereit; ein sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbüffet. Es gab sogar Vollkorntoast. Leider war die Unterkunft unseres Fahrers sehr unterirdisch. Gerade die Busfahrer müssen sich ja ausruhen, um die Fahrgäste sicher ans Ziel zu bringen. Daran müsste noch gearbeitet werden. Vor der Dusche hat leider die Fussbodenmatte gefehlt. Sehr gefährlich, da nach dem Duschen extreme Rutschgefahr besteht. Der Duschkopf könnte auch mal wieder entkalkt werden.

Via Tui een rondreis geboekt waar het verblijf bij hotel Marrani een onderdeel van de reis was Op het moment dat wij er verbleven was het erg rustig. We hebben een aangenaam verblijf gehad. Appartement was vrij nieuw en netjes. Eigenaresse van het hotel heeft ons een heerlijk authentiek gerecht voorgeschoteld. Eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Ho soggiornato per lavoro in questo bellissimo hotel per 3 giorni, il personale é molto cordiale e disponibile e anche se la struttura ha qualche anno é tenuta molto bene. ottima la pulizia e ottimo il ristorante. ringrazio ancora i propietari per come ci hanno fatto stare bene!

Via Tui hier terecht gekomen tijdens de Fly-drive Venetië, Toscane, Lago Maggiore. Dit is een hotel waar bussen stoppen. Die bussen vertrekken vroeg in de ochtend. Om 6.00 rolkoffers en gesprekken onder je raam is niet mijn idee van uitrusten als je er 3 nachten slaapt. Savonds kletsende rokers onder je raam. Geen airco (nee een ventilator maakt het niet koeler). Mensen, locatie, kamer zelf en zwembad echt wel ok. De omstandigheden voor een Fly-drive echt niet. Geen buiten, alleen je kamer/bed om bij te komen. Na een dag autorijden of steden bezocht te hebben wil je toch in een rustige tuin oid zitten. Niet in een ruimte waar de ramen niet open kunnen door de busgangers. 3 nachten zouden we blijven, we hebben na de eerste nacht ergens voor weinig een appartement geboekt. (met zijn vieren: kosten appartement per nacht hetzelfde als 1 menu zonder drankjes op deze locatie. Conclusie, prima hotel voor bus/doorreis, niet geschikt voor Fly-drive waarbij verblijf meerdere dagen is.

Nooit heen gaan wat een slecht armoedig hotel. Wij verbleven er 2 nachten als laatse onderdeel van een groepsrondreis. Ongeloofelijk dat een reisorganisatie dit inde reis heeft opgenomen. Kleine kale kaners zonder airco. Superdunne handdoeken die op lakens lijken en zuur ruiken. Avondeten kleine porties geen keuze. Ontbijt oude broodjes van de dag ervoor, geen verse sappen, geen fatsoenlijke italiaanse koffie maar automaten prut.Een aanfluiting en super minpunt van de rondreis.
