The hotel is absolutely charming, the staff is very kind, helpful and attentive. The hotel spa is elegant and the rooms are quaint and clean. We wish we had a queensize bed instead of two single’s bed for our honeymoon, but it’s of then the case to save space in Italy. The restaurant is also fabulous. This hotel is a gem to discover. ❤️

I believe we had one of the smallest room in the hotel, but it was perfect and comfy. Everything in the room was done in a smart way, for example the luggages could fit perfectly under the closet. We had all the facilities we needed and more. The breakfast buffet was fresh and also very complete. The dinners were amazing with a great variety of choice. In the hotel itself, It is easy to say that all was done with great taste and a lot of love. Wilma and her family (the owners) made us feel more than welcome and treated us with a lot of consideration. It was altogether an excellent vacation in a beautiful and warm place. This was our third visit to La Genzianella .Perhaps the coziest and most comfortable hotel we have stayed in during all our ski holidays in the Alps. Exceptional quality of food, service and attitude towards guests. Highly recommended!

La Genzianella is a wonderful family-run alpine hotel, a perfect base for our annual Bormio ski trips for over ten years now. A great deal of thought has gone into the beautiful design and development of the hotel. Superbly-run, with friendly and efficient staff, excellent rooms, wonderful food and restaurant, it offers a wide range of services to support alipine activities, including a newly developed wellness spa. It is a real delight to spend time here as a guest.

My second time staying at La Genzianella, and I plan to come back again. Accomodating for our snowboarding gear with great storage and easy exits and entries. The lobby was cozy and homey, the staff were helpful and kind, the food was ALWAYS beyond amazing, the spa was luxurious and clean and relaxing. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to return for the third time!

The warm, high end/quality rooms and hotel are only bettered by the staff and family that look after you during your stay. We were always greeted with a smile and genuine interest to make our stay the best it could be. The new spa facility for guests is an incredible way to relax and unwind after a day of activity and there's a reason that the hotel restaurant is rated one of the best in Bormio. Fantastic genuine Italian cuisine in abundance! It's a short 5 minute walk to the ski hire and gondola, 10 minutes into the town centre, with views of the ski fields and mountain. We've been in both, summer and winter, and both seasons allow the town and hotel to shine. Highly recommended.
