"Although the hotel is a bit old, all the facilities and equipment are well maintained. The only thing is that the power sockets and door and window locks are a bit old. The service is perfect. No matter where you are, the service staff can accurately call your name. You don't need to sign any bills for all consumption, and it will be automatically charged to the room account. And the service staff will always know when you are not in the room, and will take the opportunity to clean the room. They clean 10 times a day. It is a paradise for detail control. I will definitely bring my family back."
"A bit off, a little far away from the town, don't even think about walking to the town, there are farmhouses, and then farmland, but the pool room can see Borobudur, although a bit small. The rooms are about 7-8 villas. They are not big, they should not be regular hotels, and there are not many residents, like private homes. The proprietress is of Chinese descent from a snake, a big dog brought back by Italy, and the service staff are all females, which is quite enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the TV has to be charged separately, similar to domestic Internet TV programs. In short, except for the inconvenient transportation and nothing around, it is not bad. Can help call a taxi to the scenic area, it seems 150K round trip."
"Very distinctive hotel, quiet service staff are very enthusiastic, the whole hotel is not easy to find in the mountains, but walking into the hotel feels like an outdoor Taoyuan. Because all the air in the tropics is humid and the hotel occupies a large area, some locations are not well maintained, but the overall feeling is good. The plateau is cold at night and does not require air conditioning, but the quilt is a bit damp. There is a small courtyard outside the room where you can sit down and drink and chat, but the door lock is broken because it is too late and there is no request to change the room. It was already 10 o'clock to the hotel and I went the wrong way. After check-in, I went to the restaurant for dinner. There are not many varieties and it tastes good. Breakfast is also very simple and has Southeast Asian characteristics. The taste is also good, I prefer the original ecological experience. Very satisfied will recommend friends to stay."

"On the same day, I went to BOROBUDUR for a long journey. I was very tired. When I arrived at the hotel, I found that the hotel was not big. It was all on one floor. There was a lobby with several tables. The right side was a small pool. The room around the pool. The room decoration is very rough, the bed is 1 meter / piece, the toilet is the worst, the setting is not good, it feels bad. But the front desk was very enthusiastic about the introduction, because she spoke English too fast and mixed accent I could not hear clearly. But the overall situation is good. The room is not big, it is basically impossible to have an extra bed."

"The sanitation is not good, there are many bugs, and friends will give up staying for two nights and change to other hotels. The picture at the time of booking is seriously inconsistent with the actual environment, and the most failed booking."
"Amazing cottage Homestay experience empowered by motherly loving host Unfa. Love the unlimited supply of freshly made hot tea and Java coffee. Indo mie is yummy!
Wake up at first sight: mountains and blue sky framing the terrace."

Very Good
GGuest UserBreakfast a la carte is very very nice, fresh fruit is also great
The room is made up twice, very friendly staffs
The location is amazing as you can see Borobudur from the Patio restaurant (where you will have breakfast)
Amenity is truly lacking: no gym of its own, instead need to go to its sister hotel : Plataran Heritage, the shared gym is a dusty small room with one treadmill, one workout dumbbell set
The spa also looks quiet old, we ended up going to another hotel for spa
GGuest UserThe environment, location, and hardware are nothing to say, and it only takes a five-minute drive to Borobudur. However, as a four-star (five-star?) hotel, the quality of the staff is somewhat uneven. From laundry services to catering, there are varying degrees of difficulty in communicating in English. Some staff even seem at a loss. In addition, the breakfast options are extremely limited, and the styles are mainly Indonesian. The hot dishes are basically cold when you eat them every day.
ZZiyouxinling_121We were a group of four people and one child. We originally booked two suites, but I didn't expect to be upgraded to a villa with a swimming pool. It was a pleasant surprise. The welcome fruit was also very good, and the service was even better. We booked tickets to the top of Borobudur on behalf of us, and there was a special driver to pick us up. It felt like a VIP throughout the trip. The hotel is located on the hillside, and the scenery is superb. When the visibility is good, you can see two volcanoes and the Borobudur scenic area.
GGuest Userwe had a very spacious room over looking the pool , the surroundings were very peaceful and we enjoyed the hospitality extended by the staff . They had specially prepared vegan breakfast for us at 6 am . It was 5 minutes walk to Borobudur temple . I would recommend this hotel for sure .
LLeZelleWe had a wonderful stay at Wat Agung Guest House! Reception desk staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and big enough to stay comfortably with two big backpacks. The location is perfect if you want to get to Borobudur temple early-It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the ticket office. You can buy a ticket online, or at the ticket office. I suggest going early if you opt for buying a ticket on site as there is a daily max of 1200 visitors allowed on the temple. We bought tickets online on Traveloka (some online tickets, like ours exclude the temple visit, but you can pay separately for a temple ticket add-on for 80 000 IDR per person) There are a few shops and restaurants around. Definitely recommend this property!
AAndy_CNUKThe location of this hotel was perfect for me as it was walking distance from the Borobudur temple area. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived (although their English wasn't perfect that wasn't an issue)! And the room was lovely. It felt like my own private little villa. I would happily stay here again if I was going to stay for longer in Bali and use it as a place to relax by the beautiful swimming pool.
GGuest UserLocation is great, only 5 mins walk to Borobudur Temple. The staff are friendly and helpful but not all can speak English. Room is simple and basic. We can chat via WhatsApp no need to go to reception counter. I borrowed ironing board and iron and the staff brought them over and helped me to set-up nicely for me. Like the kampung environment with rooster waking me up every morning. Must turn on electric mosquito repellent, second night I forgot to on it I got 2 mosquito bites. Breakfast is basic but suffice for me. I chose American breakfast but excluding sausages. Fresh juice also included in breakfast. Those items in the menu are so affordable, I ordered fried tempeh and Javanese herbal drink, really nice.
TTuya22I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in the downtown area, so even solo travelers don't have to worry. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the public areas have a sense of design. I really like it and it's definitely a good trip!
Turn right and walk 200 meters out of the hotel to find supermarkets, restaurants, and snack stands!
The staff is so enthusiastic. When we failed to get a taxi, she took a motorcycle to take us to catch the Borobudur sunrise tour
The front desk girl Anin is beautiful and kind! It was a really good trip!
