"The Palace Hotel is an older establishment that is getting a little tired and in need of some TLC.
The room offered to us (#20) is very small, had a double bed (not queen size) and had the TV mounted very high up on the very high wall. The only way to watch it is to actually lie on the bed!
Issues encountered during both nights we stayed included doors banging, next doors TV and people talking loudly in the corridor even as late/early as 4am! Very poor standard of accommodation for $180 per night!
Would we do it again? No thank you."
"It's a no frills hotel with no reception desk. You have to walk to the end of the hotel till you see a hollow entry and you will see the key cases with room numbers on the wall. No slippers provided, no shower gel only shampoo and conditioner provided. It's shared bathroom and there's a common kitchen with toaster and microwave. There's a mini fridge in the room. Overall ok for 1 or 2 nights stay."
