A very nice family business, a sort of "mom & pop" hotel; run by a very sweet and friendly French couple. Rooms are good, we had a nice balcony, PINK bathrooms and a good breakfast. Bourg en Bresse is a nice town. To travel there from Lyon airport by public transport was pretty difficult, make sure you book a reserved airport shuttle bus in advance, that will save you a LOT of time.

Very clean and quiet hotel with parking and 10 mins walk to the old town center. Staff very professional. We stayed 6 nights. There are good traditional restaurants only 200m away. The hotel is well placed for the tourist attractions of B en B.

We originally planned to stop again in Macon, at a hotel we had used about two weeks ago on the way down to Italy. However, there was an issue with the way they were seeking to pre-authorise our credit card. The card company said the issue was not with the card. So we had to do some quick rebooking and chose Logis de Brou instead. Parking was free, in the yard behind the hotel. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We got a good night's sleep. The place was quiet, though I would not be fully confident about internal soundproofing were it busy. The bathroom was absolutely spotless. It looked like it only went in yesterday. Our room had a balcony. It overlooked a small garden and the main road beyond. Traffic noise did not impact on us. WiFi was good. No safe or fridge in the room. AC was not set to cool, a situation common in hotels at this time of year. We Northern Europeans like the bedroom cooler at night. But lack of AC did not impact on sleep. We had a lovely meal in Le Bresson, a short walk away. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we were in the area.

We stayed one night at this good, clean hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean and had a nice balcony overlooking a side street. Opposite the wonderful monastery of Brou and within walking distance of restaurants and town centre.

Clean, quiet, a nice bathroom, everything new; large private parking. An excellent choice! For one night we had chosen a small room, but there was everything you can need, with a small balcony too. At walking distance from the center and its various bistros and restaurants (some others near the Monastery)

I picked the hotel because of its proximity to the royal monastery of Brou, which is just a stone's throw away, and because it offered private parking. The room was very comfortable and there was a nice bathroom. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was well stocked and presented. Great value for money and good location in relation to the town centre - it's an easy walk!

Perfect: very pleasant premises: large bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything is perfectly maintained. Heartwarming welcome. Good breakfasts. Right opposite the Royal Monastery of Brou (elected French favorite monument in 2014) and various restaurants. Easy and free parking.

It's a great stopover on the way from Germany to the South of France. The hotel is very conveniently located near the motorway, and the old town is within walking distance. The car is parked safely in the courtyard, which is locked at night, and there was also room for our large Renault Trafic. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, the beds were good. The French breakfast was plentiful and the staff very friendly and helpful.
