If this had been the first B&B hotel I had ever visited, I would have decided to never visit another. Although the bed is clean and the shower works, it was very disappointing because we came here after two consecutive nights in B&B hotels with much higher standards. Open, attractive reception/breakfast areas, spacious comfortable rooms, free coffee etc 24/7. The offering at Bourges seems to be from a sadder less attractive era. Of course, some hotels in a chain will be better than others, but, surely, the ugly ducklings should be cheaper… It is not awful, it is clean and comfortable, but old and very pokey and unattractive. Also it has EV chargers, loads of them, most of which work, all of which are empty (except mine). 3 stars would be fair, but it is a BandB and we have come to expect lots more.

I Am aware of the fact that this is a budget hotel and the service level one can expect. In this case however, our low expectations proved to be to high. The budget mentioned, doesn't seem to apply to the room rates, but to the amount of time and money this company invests in operating this hotel. Hospitality of the staff members differs widely, all the way from very pleasant to as rude as a frenchman only pictured in a film. I didn't know the stereotypical rude frenchman really existed but they do, and they work here. There is absolutely no ambiance in the reception area what so ever. For this level of hotel this isn't very much of a problem, it would have been nice but one can't expect this. Full red flags however when you are passed the reception area on the stairs leading to the rooms! Pictures of insects that absolutely 100% match the description of cockroaches on posters that say that while these creatures do live in your room and look like cockroaches, they are not cockroaches. They promise... The 4 pax room is absolutely cramped, being a 2 pax room with an extra bunk bed shoved into it. The bed seemed clean but the room is just plain filthy and worn down. The (hopefully) clean towels were scatered through the room and bathroom. The bathroom itself was dirty, flies kept coming in through a hole in the wall, and there was a build up of dirt and grime. Absolutely discusting. Don't expect a four star experience when you only pay for two, but stay away from this hotel. Or get your tetanus vaccination first.

Suite à un voyage en moto, cet hôtel fut un arrêt bien agréable. Personnel sympathique, et surtout nuit tranquille et calme. Il faut reconnaître que bien que nous avions dormi fenêtre ouverte c’était silencieux. Le petit déjeuné était copieux

Hôtel vraiment vieillissant. 2 étages sans ascenseur. Isolation phonique pas au top (normal pour son âge). Literie confortable. Propreté à revoir même si « le plus gros » convenait. Lors de notre départ nous avons vu le linge de lit propre attendre dans le couloir, posé sur des sacs tissu à même le sol. Pas très hygiénique… Personnel tout juste aimable. À revoir ! Curieusement nous n’avons pas reçu de questionnaire pour donner notre avis alors que nous l’avons reçu pour celui de Saint-Malo … 🧐🤔

Le gérant est très désagréable, il n'a pas supporté que je prenne un croissant du petit déjeuner pour la route. Il m'a incendiée devant tous les autres clients. Avec des arguments pour le moins douteux (si tout le monde faisait comme moi, il n'avait plus qu'à aller racheter des croissants... oui, c'est un peu son travail éventuellement). Je précise qu'il était 9h30, que les horaires du petit-déjeuner allaint se terminer et qu'il restait un tas de viennoiseries certainement déstinées à la poubelle (redistribution j'espère mais j'en doute...). Le petit-déjeuner à volonté, c'est sur place, m'a-t-il dit. Donc, mieux vaut en prendre 10 sur place que 1 pour la route. A bon entendeur, ce B&B ne nous reverra pas, d'autant que la chambre PMR est minuscule et la SDB à peine praticable avec un fauteuil roulant électrique. Ha j'oubliais, la veille, ce même monsieur nous a reprochés d'avoir pris les codes de la chambre sur la machine à l'extérieur au lieu de nous adresser à lui (on ne l'avait pas vu à dire vrai). Problématique tout de même cette attitude agressive... même fin août en fin de saison, injustifiable cette agressivité (d'autant que je m'évertue à rester polie et là, il y avait de quoi monter le ton, je l'assure...).

Un accueil très professionnel. Un personnel attentionné. Juste a coté de l'autoroute, parfait pour les vacances. Établissements de restauration a proximité (a pieds) restauration rapide ou a table. Idéal pour une pause sur la route du retour de vacances

pour des raisons de santé j'ai demandé si le réceptionniste accepterait que je prenne un chocolat non pas à la machine car je ne l'aime pas mais à la salle, ce monsieur me l'a refusé et m'a répondu que je n'avais qu'à aller à la machine je lui ai dit que je le paierai il m'a dit de régler 2euros j'ai été très choqué par son comportement. Je lui ai dit que j'allais en informer la direction et m'a répondu qu'il était le responsable. Je lui ai demandé son nom il ne voulait pas me le donner mais il a fini par me dire qu'il s'appelait tahar comme l'écrivain (très narquois). Je ne voulais plus entendre parler de B&B.
