As a repeat guest of the Rockland River Rock Inn, I was disappointed this time. Despite the hotel not being full and arriving at an empty parking lot, we were denied early check-in by just one hour. To make matters worse, we weren't even allowed to drop our bags in the room, which would have been a small but helpful gesture. The front desk staff didn’t seem empowered to make decisions, leaving us frustrated and unwelcome; this also happened on the prior trip. After this experience, I’ll stay in Orleans 15 mins way, where more options offer better service and flexibility.
