I booked this hotel because it said there was a bar an restaurant. Unfortunately both were closed, which on a rainy and stormy night was less than ideal. I wouldn’t have booked if I had known in advance
that I wouldn’t be able to get dinner.

Much better than a premier inn! I have come back to this hotel time and time again while staying away on business. Shawn and his team always do the utmost to make me feel at home. The rooms are all clean and the beds are all comfortable. I'll be back for sure !

Comfortable rooms and excellent staff led by Shawn who is professional, helpful and accommodating, creating a pleasant hotel experience. The hotel is well situated for a variety of activities and has the wonderfully unusual feature of a mill race running through the hotel buildings. Calm, quiet and relaxing.

Great experience at the Watermill. Very nice room and really lovely staff. Amazing breakfast, freezing cooked to our requests. Good value for money, too. We were late arriving ,(close to midnight) due to delayed flight and manager had stayed up to meet us and check us in.

We spent two nights here whilst visiting family in the area. Shawn welcome us and showed us to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a good breakfast, cooked to our taste. All the staff we meet were friendly. We would certainly return.

Great hotel for the price we paid the customer service was excellent Shawn was amazing greeted us and was there through out our stay anything we needed was fulfilled set in a lovely village a nice pub opposite the bar opens at 5 we went for a drink why we waited for our taxi free nibbles were gave too us can't fault it

Very helpful and accommodating. Staff were amazing; Shawn was great and very welcoming. We were even shown to our room on arrival. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choice. Bed was comfortable and hotel was very clean and tidy and we will definitely stay again.

Great service, clean, comfortable room with friendly and accommodating staff. Shawn went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Extra requests were provided and they were very flexible. A very relaxing overnight stay. We will be back.
