We chose this hotel because it wasn't far from the MV Ferry, but our stay here was so enjoyable, we'll come back just to stay here again. At check-in you are greeted by Tammy, one of the most knowledgeable, professional, helpful, hotel front desk workers anywhere, who provides you with a wealth of information about the hotel -- and free snacks. Our room was absolutely lovely -- spotlessly clean with a beautiful view of Buzzard's Bay. The only thing that wasn't up to snuff was the breakfast -- but I'm sure they'll fix that with a few easy changes (i.e. get rid of the do-it-yourself waffle batter, and those lemon/poppy seed pastries).

Although this motel is economical, it feels very comfortable to stay here for one night, it should not be built for a long time, the decoration and equipment are very new and clean. The hotel is not big, more than ten rooms. The front desk staff was friendly but not full-time and the last booking guest arrived after check-in and she left work. Left a phone to find her. The next day I checked out and she hadn't been at work yet, so I put the key in the box. The room is a little smaller than the average motel but small and beautiful. There is a microwave and mini refrigerator in the room. The hotel location is very convenient, 40 minutes drive from Marthas Vineyard Ferry Pier. If you go to Martha's Vineyard for a day but don't want to spend the night on the island, you can consider returning to the mainland to live here. Marthas Vineyard Hotels on the island are several times expensive and not good during peak season.
